My husband and I recently renovated our kitchen and we were looking for a counter depth fridge and so happy we came across this one! We love the modern look and it provides a streamline aesthetic and saves us space in the kitchen. Typical standard fridges stick out 6 to 10 inches and we needed more room so personally, it was not a downgrade because the fridge is great. The fridge and freezer both come with two slide drawers. It’s extremely easy to clean and you can remove the shelves depending on the height you need for inside your fridge. It also gives you a reminder “beep” sound if the fridge has been open for a long time which you can edit in the settings. I love this fridge and freezer combo, but I do not recommend this fridge if you have a big family and are needing to pack your fridge full of food because as we know counter-depth fridges are not “full-size”refrigerators so you are giving up a little bit of space. This was fine with my husband and I because we are near a ton of restaurants/grocery stores so we don’t need to store as much food in our fridge at all times. Everything is 5-7 minutes away if we need something so that was also a considering factor to switching to a counter depth fridge. Back when the closest store to us were 2 hours away I would have never considered a counter-depth fridge. I just like being fully transparent and strictly offering my my personal opinion but in no way counting this as a “negative” remark. It all depends on what you need and how much space you have to work with! I highly recommend this fridge and it came in great condition with no scratches or dents. You can control the temp settings with the buttons on the front of the fridge which is so modern and we love it! The lighting inside the fridge/freezer is bright and it took about a month to arrive but well worth the wait. ** Please note that they do not take your old fridge upon delivery or install. I installed this in my work home away from home fifth wheel. Very good fit, the fifth wheel had already been fitted with a full-size refrigerator. Seems to be very reliable after several months of use. I'm away each weekend and I know that my food and medications are safe when I return

If I could rate it lower I would. I bought this fridge and within two weeks the freezer stopped working and the fridge cooled half as well. Assuming it was a faulty product, I had it replaced with the same model, and here we are half a year later and the same problem has occurred. Customer service for Hamilton Beach knows nothing about Hamilton Beach fridges, but they can always direct you to other email addresses and phone numbers of other Hamilton Beach services that also know nothing about Hamilton Beach fridges, so that's cool I guess. They both ran well in the short lifespan they had. ... show more

We bought this fridge exactly a year ago, it is still working as day one, beautifully. This counter-depth fridge fits perfectly and looks great in our galley kitchen. It is very functional, with plenty of usable shelf space, well-organized space, and the bins are just the perfect size too.. Temperature is very accurate. A very esthetically pleasing appliance. one month into use, my rating may be updated over time + Its super quiet... i only hear some trickling noise either from the compressor or the defrost cycle... the GE was a noise pig in comparison... + it fits nearly the same amount as the previous fridge with the icemaker removed. Fridges in general need to be user configured like we want it.. more shelves, different spacing... bins in the freezer is not good, food might not completely freeze... this could use a few more thinner door bins on the fridge side were available for condiment sized bottles to maximize usable space... - it could use more shelving in the freezer... i removed 1 drawer bin and added more shelving on the bin slot left and added another shelf above that... - The temps show only set points, i would also like the actual temps so i can see if there is a problem. ... show more
