This review is for the k-cup / espresso combo unit. My friend and I both purchased one of these in November 2022. Mine arrived defective. His died a little over a month later. Same problem. You turn it on, it makes two clicking noises, and the lights blink - won't do anything else. Aside from the defective units. It's great that it can accept k-cups and nespresso pods. The kcups taste ok using the strong setting, but Keurigs seem to brew better coffe. I imagine the multistream Keurigs are even better. The 2 Keurigs I've used don't have multistream but still beat this unit in flavor. (Ignore this section - most likely was user error): The nespresso side brews a decent cup of espresso. But my problem is the way it's designed. The plunger is set sideways so water/coffee always gets trapped in the plunger and the bin to catch used pods is pretty small and water/coffee always finds a way to drip around the bin. So every time I empty the used bin, I also have to wipe the outside of the bin, the machine around and under where the bin sits, and the counter & under the unit. It's kind of a pain. The machine is also very loud. I assume a powerful pump is required to produce 19 bars of pressure for the espresso, but it also uses that very same pump to brew kcups. So it's loud and vibrates whether you brew espresso or kcups. Light sleepers be warned! Knowing all this, would I make this purchase again? No. It's not reliable, it's loud, and creates a mess. I think I'm better off with separate Keurig & Nespresso machines, and no counter space left. Update: My friend's unit died around early January 2023. It's now the end of March 2023, and Hamilton Beach still does not have the coffee maker in stock and no eta of when his replacement unit will be available. They did offer a different unit, but this is their only model with espresso & k cups. My replacement unit still works. Fingers crossed. Update2: My friend's unit that died in Jan 2023 still has not been replaced by Hamilton Beach. Unknown when it will be back in stock. It is now April, 2023. Update3: Now it's June 2023 and my replacement unit is 7 months old. It started leaking internally, and the blinking light issue returned shortly afterwards - Unable to brew. Hamilton Beach still doesn't have them in stock. I'm done, time to move on to another brand.

The espresso machine I had bought my husband last year for Christmas broke a few months after we had received it, and then our Keurig machine broke just a few months ago. I didn't even know a keurig/expresso machine was possible! On one side it takes the Nespresso pods(when you lift the lid, the used pod falls into a little compartment that stores them and you throw them all away when it get full, since they are so tiny.)Then on the other side it takes K-Cups, but there's also a brewing basket so you can use ground coffee. This thing is 100% amazing! These reviews had me a little worried because people said that it was really loud, or it took too long to make coffee. However in our experience that is not the case, it's as loud as a regular Keurig machine, and it starts Brewing the moment you press the button(obviously the water does have to heat up, but that time is not very long). The water reservoir on the back is very large and I feel like I'm not having to add as much water as our previous Keurig machine. 100000/10, totally recommend.

I have been having issues with this coffee maker since the day it arrived. When I opened the box, a piece was dislodged and I had to repair it myself. Once I got that fixed, there was a loud click and the "14oz" & "Bold" lights started flashing. I looked up some solutions online because the troubleshooting tips provided by Hamilton Beach were not helpful. I found some solutions online and it worked consistently for just a few months before nothing would work to fix it. MOST IMPORTANTLY - I reached out to Hamilton Beach to see if they could replace this one for me with a better working one. I was hoping they would provide at least a 1-year warranty on it. After telling me that they couldn't do anything without a purchase receipt, I provided one from Amazon and they said that they WILL NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY if it is purchased from a third-party like Amazon. They only offered a 15% off coupon from their website, which is available to anyone. I will never buy anything from the company ever again. They know they are selling a defective product, not honoring the warranty, and still continue to sell it even though it is literally one of the lowest-rated coffee machines available.

This thing is loud, takes too long to heat up and you end up with coffee grounds everywhere - including too many in your coffee. I switched back to my old Keurig.

this is the 2nd flexbrew trio ive purchased in the last 2 years. this one lasted 16 monts a few months past 12 month waranty. I dont recommend this product. starts to brew puts out a few squirts of water then stops with lights flashing as if its out of water which it isn't. does this for both sides. it would cost over 100$ to repair if it can be so basically its throw away. buyer beware. not an issue with seller on amazon but just poor quality product.
