If you've owned a Keurig before, you kind of know what you are getting into. Convenient single-serve coffee that costs a little more per cup than brewing a whole pot, but doesn't have the waste associated with dumping out half a pot if there are only one or two coffee drinkers. You also know that eventually one of the little needles is going to get plugged with debris and it will take some quality time with a straightened paper clip to clear it out. That being said, this is a great compromise between the tiny units and the giant units. It is simple to use, with just size buttons and an option for "strong". No clocks, timers, etc., but it does automatically turn off after a period of not being used. I have only three minor complaints with this model: First, the reservoir is small. You need to fill it after two cups, which can be annoying. Second, the reservoir is very narrow, and there is a gap between the tank and the body. It is very easy to accidentally pour water into the gap, which then promptly leaks all over your counter top. Third, even with the drip tray removed, the place where you set the mug is too low for some tall portable coffee mugs, so you end up brewing into a coffee cup then pouring the cup into the portable mug. Note I said some, not all. I just remember an earlier model being taller. Overall still works, and for the price it is a good value, just know that it will seem like you are constantly filling it, and you need to be careful when doing so. ... show more

I love my Keurig K-Select coffee maker! As someone who enjoys a fresh cup of coffee every morning, this Keurig machine is perfect for me. It's very simple to use - just add water to the reservoir, pop in your favorite K-cup, select your brew size and in under a minute you have a hot, delicious cup of coffee. The K-Select model is Keurig's most versatile single serve coffee maker as it allows you to brew 6, 8 or 10 ounce sizes. It has a large 52 ounce water reservoir so you can brew 6 cups before having to refill. The drip tray is removable and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. If you're looking for an affordable, easy to use single serve coffee maker, I highly recommend the Keurig K-Select. You really can't beat the convenience, quality and variety of coffees and teas to choose from. This would make an excellent gift for any coffee lover. We are a family of 7 and use this all day, everyday. I personally drink 2 to 3 cups of coffee and one or two additional hot drinks a day. Everyone in the family uses the keurig. Unless everyone is having tea or hot cocoa at once the Keurig is out go to device for heating water or making coffee. We have had this one for almost 4 years. The tank has been dropped multiple times and will soon need to be replaced. The tank and it's lid are my least favorite part of this machine. It's awkward to hold and the lid is challenging to get back on the machine without dropping it. We have started using a pitcher to fill the tank as we have dropped the tank a few times and the bottom is now damaged, but still functions fine. I really like that I can make my coffee one handed (like if I am holding a kid, I can still make my coffee). ... show more

Ok so I did return this item but they promptly refunded me and free shipping back. Thus the 5 stars. So the problem was that the coffee maker was turning off after a few seconds. So Come to find out after I returned it that this was probably due to the water pressure sensor. I could have just pushed the K cup into the bottom needle when I inserted it. This would have alleviated the problem. I wish I would have found that our first but my bad. I would buy from this company again. Great customer service. ... show more

I purchased this Keurig K-Select coffee maker to replace an older one and really like it. This is the fourth Keurig I've owned in probably 12-years and have always enjoyed them and the coffee they have made. This new one is no exception. It is working great as expected and has all of the features the old Keurig's had plus a some new extras like the "Strong" setting and a replaceable water filter in the water tank. The new matte white also finish blends in nicely with our kitchen counter area and seems easier to keep clean than the shiny white plastic the old one was made of. The Auto Off feature now shuts the coffee maker off after two hours of non-use instead of three hours like on the old one, which I always thought was a little too long anyway. The "Smart Start" feature now lets you select the cup size right at startup without having to wait for the unit to preheat, like I had to with the old units. The water tank and lid also now have finger tabs to lift them by instead of just smooth edges like on the old one. Overall, the improvements on the K-Select make this Keurig the best one of the I've had so far and am really quite happy with it. ... show more
