First one the carafe side stopped working a little over a yr - GLAD I GOT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. We decided to try it again. When it worked, we enjoyed the flexibility to make a cup or a carafe. Definitely slower than our Keurig.

Love this coffee maker! I have different types of makers, including espresso, French press. And what I really like about this coffee maker is, I can get a coffee ready for two, program it, so that it’s ready in the morning. Then throughout the day if I feel like having a cup of coffee, I can just put in a K cup or I can even use the coffee filter for a single cup and use my own ground coffee. Just a lot of options here for a great cup of coffee another thing that was very important is that it does keep the coffee hot for two hours, without leaving a burnt coffee flavor. Would have loved to give a review, however, I have yet to receive the item. It was misdelivered back on July 1st and seller was notified. Have yet to receive the information regarding their investigation into the item. Seller has been given not only a picture of my home, but also the directions on how to find it and I have yet to find out what has happened to the item, whether or not it is going to be replaced or if I am going to be issued a refund.
