So perfect for my needs that I got a second one for when I stay at my son’s house. I use it for loose tea, ground coffee, or single serve pods. Starts heating in seconds, done brewing in only two minutes. Don’t overfill with water or it will overflow; use your cup to fill the waterbin to the proper amount, and check the transparent viewer on the side of the bin which shows you the max line. I can use either my travel mug or a cup without splattering because of the little stand which I also use to store the two small brewing containers that enable you to switch brewing methods. I like the single cup pot for my computer room. Coffee comes out just fine. Be sure to push coffee pod down well or pot will not work. The on switch is a bit odd as it comes on above circle, but it works. Coffee tastes fine.

JUNK!!!!! Would give zero stars if I could. Done buying these Hamilton Beach coffee makers & all single brew coffee makers actually. They all fail, pods are expensive. I ordered 2 of these. One for kitchen, one for guest room. I have had the flex brew for a few years but went through 3 of them, as they all broke within a year but ok. I liked it better than he Keurig which was really a pain. I really only used the single brew side so wanted slimmer one. This one broke 2 days ago, making a HUGE mess all over the place pouring coffee everywhere & everything around it. I only used it for a little over 2 months I think. It was delivered March 20th. I usually start it and walk away finish getting ready and wallah a perfect made cup but keep in mind for a strong cup you need to added in a scoop of instant coffee to your cup but that's on the coffee brand not the machine

I liked this coffee maker very much. Easy to use straight forward operation. worked great for then out of the blue it just stopped working and wont pump the water through any longer. I've had it about a year but still that's not good. its not clogged at all it just quit pumping. I would probably buy again but might try a different one not sure yet. ... show more
