To start: ITS DRIFTWOOD THAT WAS BOUGHT ONLINE. If you don't 'like it' I'm not sure what to tell ya. For stating it's between 8"-12" it hits the mark. For me personally I think what I got was perfect and somehow met what I was hoping to get. Now to be fair 2 are small fat pieces with 1 longer thinner piece. It's a great quality for what you get, nothing came broken, or seemed to be altered during shipping. If you're wanting to have almost a mystery box for driftwood- this is the product.

Never bought driftwood before. But must say I'm happy I did. I followed the boiling instructions. And placed them into my tank. They released some tannins after a few days. But that's actually good for fish health. Love the rich natural color and esthetic it adds to my aquarium.

Super driftwood. Two pieces sank right away and after a day of sitting in a bucket of water they were all at the bottom of the bucket. Very little brown coloring to the aquarium

Giving it a 3 out of 5 for now, haven't boiled or installed into new tank yet I'm just pretty disappointed in size. 8"-12" Is what it claims, they definitely took a little liberty with that, 1 is 7", 1 is a hair over 8", and last 1 is right at 10". I'd of given a 2 star but the 7" piece is a pretty cool looking little piece, so I'll give it a pass.

I purchased these to hang on my shower wall with air plants, unfortunately they don’t hand well due to the uneven surfaces. They do however, look great on the deck of my jacuzzi tub with air plants in them! They are real wood with nooks and crannies that add interest wherever they are placed.

I ordered 3 pieces and was initially was a little disappointed when they arrived. One is an almost solid bark-like piece and the other two I felt were only marginally more fun. I had planned to use two pieces in my 20 gallon aquarium and one in my starter snake tank. Boiling was a process. I boiled, drained the murky water, and boiled again 4-5 times over the process of 4 hours. The solid piece never did stop making the boiled water dark as coffee but I felt I had reduced the tannins enough that I could accept a little brown in the aquarium if it happened. After placing the two pieces in the aquarium I'm actually really happy with both. The solid piece has a lot of character under the water and both are a perfect size and color. They both have just a tiny bit of bouyancy but do not float after boiling. I'm giving them some more time to become completely water logged then I'll set them how I like them and arrange the plants on and around them. I'm very happy with them. They arrived pretty clean and any dirt or dust was easily removed in the rinsing and boiling process. 24 hrs in and my tank is not any murkier, I do have a carbon filter and accu-clear so that may be of assistance to anyone who is having problems with tannins in the water. They're a HUGE improvement to the aquarium and my fish actually does interact with them and she's normally not the sort. I have not used the third piece yet as I have not set up the planned snake tank yet.
