Was a little worried since real driftwood can be a shot in the dark with what you get, but I was pleasantly surprised to get 3 really nice looking pieces! One piece was split on the end which was unfortunate, but it was still pretty sturdy. I soaked the wood in hot water for 2 snd 1/2 days, changing out the water every so often until it no longer turned brown. The wood was still a slightly boyant but not enough to be a problem (stays in place and I'm sure it will sink better given more time). All in all very happy with my purchase! My fish love their new decoration and it gave my tank a major glow up! (Pic included of the tank before adding the driftwood for reference).

Excellent size and variety of shapes in the three piece order. Boiled and soaked as directed, no issues whatsoever, looks amazing in my 10 gallon shrimp tank all covered with Willow moss. Wood sunk and ready to go after five hour long boils, and a five day deep soak, anchored down in a five gallon bucket of water. Great quality, great price, buy some!

Definitely boil this! I let mine soak 24 hours with multiple water changes and boiled twice for 1 hour. Had no issues with mine not sinking after that and got most of the tannins out. Smaller than expected but still a wonderful product and happy with my purchase. The bigger driftwood in my picture is from a local store but it worked nice with these 3 pieces.

I love love love this driftwood..it arrived in one piece..there was a lil tiny piece from one of them that was broken but nothing major, i still put it in the tank.. definitely boil the wood for 2 our more 3 hours.. rinse and boil with new water every hour. Then i soaked it in room temp water for another hour before putting it in the tank. It's so nice and very big pieces.

Do not recommend. The pieces of wood look beautiful and were somewhat true to size but they are full of dye. It turned my tank a reddish brown color. I did multiple water changes and then boiled the wood multiple times only to put them bank in my tank to have the water turn color again. I will be returning

I ordered 3 pieces and was initially was a little disappointed when they arrived. One is an almost solid bark-like piece and the other two I felt were only marginally more fun. I had planned to use two pieces in my 20 gallon aquarium and one in my starter snake tank. Boiling was a process. I boiled, drained the murky water, and boiled again 4-5 times over the process of 4 hours. The solid piece never did stop making the boiled water dark as coffee but I felt I had reduced the tannins enough that I could accept a little brown in the aquarium if it happened. After placing the two pieces in the aquarium I'm actually really happy with both. The solid piece has a lot of character under the water and both are a perfect size and color. They both have just a tiny bit of bouyancy but do not float after boiling. I'm giving them some more time to become completely water logged then I'll set them how I like them and arrange the plants on and around them. I'm very happy with them. They arrived pretty clean and any dirt or dust was easily removed in the rinsing and boiling process. 24 hrs in and my tank is not any murkier, I do have a carbon filter and accu-clear so that may be of assistance to anyone who is having problems with tannins in the water. They're a HUGE improvement to the aquarium and my fish actually does interact with them and she's normally not the sort. I have not used the third piece yet as I have not set up the planned snake tank yet.
