This is my first goldfish as an adult so I wanted to make sure my goldfish (Jerry) had a perfect hiding spot. I purchased this rock which was very reasonably priced and it ended up being better than expected. My fish loves this rock and he sleep and plays around it all day. It fits perfect in a smaller fish tank and could be used for a large aquarium as well. I currently used it for a smaller tank (2 gallons) and it fit perfect along with the rocks and greenery I added. If you have multiple fish and a bigger tank I would suggest getting two but otherwise for 1-3 fish this is a great purchase. The material and quality of the rock is not cheap either it’s made well and I can tell I’ll have this rock for awhile. My beta fish likes it okay! It doesn’t chip paint or anything like another decoration I had did. My snail loves to eat the algae off of it too.

I like it. The outside of the stone seems a little rough to the touch. The size is a bit bigger than I expected but they probably put measurements on the description and I didn't pay attention. My beta seemed curious about it but doesn't hang out in it like I thought he would. But I think he personally prefers being out in the open or in his treasure chest which I don't like him going in much since it's kinda small. ... show more

When I first received this rock I was worried it might snag Mr Emo Fishy’s fins. It felt like sand paper. But when I rinsed it and put it in the tank I wasn’t worried anymore. Seems to be fine. Will update in a month or 2

I showed a picture next to my remote to give you an idea of size. I thought it would be a little bigger. Our tank is tall but we will use it anyway. Probably going to put it in the tank with the Betta Fish.
