So I ordered this Ottoman because we were looking for an option to help store some of the blankets that our kids often use in our family room. Despite it being somewhat compact we were able to store 2-3 small blankets in it and it was easy to put together (only took a 2-3min at most). It also has pockets on the side for additional storage if potential remotes and such. It also seemed to hold some decent weight - with myself being approx. 200lbs - it seemed pretty sturdy. I also liked the feel out it, it didn't feel like cheap faux leather. Unfortunately after several months of use it did start to buckle/bow over time and a small tear developed in the bottom that slowly grew into a larger hole over time ( the tear started in the cloth material bottom part not the leather portion). I will add that this Ottoman was put through heavy regular use in our home - mainly by 3 children all under the age of 10 (with the youngest being toddler). I think if it was only used by older children or adults - it would have held up better and lasted a lot longer.

This is a nice ottoman with storage inside. They work great for sitting as well as a foot rest. I keep it in my son's room so that he can put his toys in there. And then he has an extra seat to sit on. The color is nice dark black that won't get dirty too easily. It could be a bit less expensive but overall is awesome!

I love these ottomans and how versatile they are. The brown faux-leather is nice and thick, easy to clean...just wipe with a damp washcloth or paper towel. No assembly required. Just unfold, place the sturdy fabric-covered cardboard bottom inside, and put the cushion top on. Boom....done. It's sturdy, yet lightweight, easy to move around. It's a classic style design and fits in well with pretty much any decor style. It holds plenty of stuff. Toys, bedsheets, throw blankets, decorative pillows, craft supplies, dog toys, snacks, socks and underwear (or any type of clothing really). A great way to keep things tidy-looking, while still having the contents easily available. Great as an ottoman, but also great as a seat. It's very sturdy, more so than some other brands I've gotten over the years. It can easily hold toddlers and young children....but it's sturdy enough for most teens and adults to sit atop. Perfect for those with space constraints, apartments, rv's, and an absolute MUST HAVE for college dorms! This storage ottoman looks like an expensive piece, but is an excellent price. A great value for sure. I plan on getting a couple more of these for other rooms in the house, as well as getting a couple to replace other similar storage ottomans I have, but aren't nearly as sturdy or aesthetically pleasing as this one. Definitely one of the best I've seen in years. I absolutely recommend!

BOTTOM LINE: 1. I recommend this Hamgtrion storage ottoman. 2. The current price of ~$27 is reasonable. LIKES: - A storage box I can keep out in the open! - Collapses nicely when I'm not using it. DISLIKES: - None. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: Please don't get confused thinking this is a piece of furniture. It is not. It is a collapsible storage box with a clever well built top, that can be used to rest your feet on. It is lower than any ottoman I've ever had before. For me, it's more useful as a place to sit when I'm working on something I have in the middle of the floor. I wasn't sure, but now that I have it, I really like it.
