Our clay balls are processed to be low in dust, making habitat maintenance simpler and helping to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for your pet. Designed for durability, these clay balls can be rinsed and reused. Their sturdy form holds up with routine care, reducing the need for frequent replacement. Which size should I choose for my tank — 2QT, 4QT, or 8QT? For a 20-gallon tank: 2QT gives a 1" thin layer (good for drainage under soil). 4QT gives a 1.5–2" layer. 8QT gives a 3–4" thick layer (great for 40+ gal tanks or two 20-gal setups). Quick pick: 10–20 gal → 2QT/4QT. 20–40 gal → 4QT. 40+ gal → 8QT. Do these clay balls produce a lot of dust? I'm worried about my bearded dragon's breathing. Very low dust. These pellets are high-temp fired and tumbled clean, so you won't get that fine powder cloud like cheap brands. Much safer for reptile lungs—no dust kicking up when your beardie digs or basks. Can I use these for my ball python's humid hide setup? Absolutely. These clay balls are great under substrate for ball pythons—they hold moisture and release it slowly, keeping humidity stable. Pour a little water into the drainage layer and the warmth will create perfect humid hide conditions. How do I clean these after my reptile messes on them? Can I reuse them? Super easy.
