I recently revamped my White Throat Monitor's hide habitat and decided to give this moss a try. After a week, I noticed a significant improvement in the humidity levels, which my monitor seemed to appreciate. The media could not be loaded. Bought this moss cause first off it has more quantity comparing to the ones pet stores around my area carry. Not only is it a perfect amount for my 40 gal zoo med bio active terrarium but I love the texture of it as well!! It is easy to break apart, it really helps when it comes to holding moisture for plants on just tank it self, no mold growth but that’s because I have springtails and isopods to help with that. Anyway I really recommend this product, my ball python appreciates it so much😁

Ehhh… the product is fine, but after using it I noticed my snake’s belly was turning yellow. Immediately switched to a natural/tan sphagnum moss and the yellow coloring faded. I like the green, but since it bleeds its a no from me.
