This umbrella is unlike any other umbrella I've bought in the past. I bought the 62 inch with light blue lining. Pros: It's very sturdy and very well made. The length of the handle is great for making sure all 3 people fit underneath. The grip is foam padded to aid in the ease of handling when wet and holding for a lengthy time. I use it most days as I walk in the hot Phoenix sun to pick up the kiddos from school. The reflective top and light color underneath keeps us cool at the peak of the day when it's hottest. Cons: being 62 inches it is slightly heavy for a more petite person to carry while open, you may want a smaller size if being used for 1 person. Overall, this is an amazing umbrella; a MUST BUY. Live in South Florida. Going to the kids soccer games in the blistering heat is a challenge! There is no shade. I bought these with high hopes. I wasn't disappointed. It must be 10 degrees cooler under these umbrellas. Don't know how I've survived years of soccer games without them.

It definitely does what it says it does. I live in the Philippines and the sun here is something else. Used it during my son’s football match and it was amazing! Absolutely zero light went through the umbrella. Also comes with a fitted bag you can put the umbrella in and sling over your shoulder. Super light and well-made. My only regret is I didn’t get a bigger one 😅 Also, there’s a bit of a smell maybe from the fabric during production but after airing it out it was fine. I use this umbrella on my golf push-cart. It has great coverage to stay dry from the rain or stay cool from the sun. Push the button and it opens right up by itself. The double vented feature is the way to go for any heavy winds. I love it!

I like everything about this umbrella except the weight. I had to add a support to the umbrella holder on my walking golf cart. That is an issue of the cart design, but this is a big heavy umbrella. It is also very effective at blocking the light on those 90 plus degree days. I clip a battery powered fan to the handle of this umbrella and march down the course keeping up with the guys in riding carts! ... show more

This is a high quality umbrella / parasol. I find myself using it all the time in all weather. The only complaint I would have is that the venting allows a little bit of rain to come through under high winds and rain. It seems like a minor complaint. A couple of times one of the end caps has come off the rib, but it was easily reattached. I think I'm going to buy a second one to keep in my car. EDIT: one of the umbrellas ribs just broke. It is really a shame that the ribs are made of fiberglass, and not carbon fiber like the main shaft is. It is a weak link. It lasted about 3 months of daily use, rain or shine as I'm very allergic to the Sun. So it could be a bit stronger, but I'm very happy with its ability to block out radiation, and I may buy another one. I just wish it was a bit stronger. I would think it should last at least a year. And if it was strong enough to last one year, it would probably be strong enough to last 10. So I may do a little more shopping around to see if I can find a stronger one. I wish it had the tension members connecting the middle of the ribs to the shaft, like my old rain shield umbrella had. It never broke, I eventually lost it after about 12 years. ... show more
