    • Super high quality!
Size: Single Pack
I got this, last year, to use in some of my plants. I've actually gotten it a few times. You don't get much but, it is so clean! It is so soft!! It holds up incredibly well and stays damp for a long time but, no mold! I needed to make moss poles so, this was WAY too expensive. I went with a brand marketed for plants, specifically orchids. It was on the recommendation of a friend who grows houseplants to sell. While it's a substantial amount for about $6, it was completely full of sticks and such!! I hate it! So! I'm coming back to this. I won't be making poles with it but, it's PERFECT for doing a moss and chunky perlite mix, in small, clear pots for my baby/young airoids and alocasia corms!! I do have snakes. If I needed moss for them, I'd get this in a second!! I only wish this came in much a bigger amount. ... show more

    • Mo' Moss For The Money!
Size: Single Pack
Review Image by Amazon Customer
Bigger box than I expected and is half the price on here vs the local pet stores. Got this for my ball python as well as my bold jumping spider...and still have half a box left over! I soaked the moss for about 10-15 mins, squeezed and plopped into their enclosures. One of the better moss varieties out there, especially for use with animals. No fake coloring or funky smell. And its reusable! Thumbs up! ... show more

    • Quickly brought up humidity in hermit crab tank
Size: Single Pack
Bought this because I heard it would help up the humidity in our hermit crab tank. It was in the 60s and within an hour it was up to 71 after I wet some and put in and sealed our lid. It sat at 75 for a day or two and is now up to 78 which is great. It came inside a bag in the original box. When I opened it some small particles were flying out but it’s from it being so dry. Would definitely recommend this product to bring up humidity in your tanks. Our crabs have been trying to climb in the bowl I put it in but it’s too tall and slick so I may end up putting a ladder on the outside for them to be able to get in there too. ... show more

    • Poor packaging, small amount..
Size: Single Pack
Kinda dissapointed with Zoo Med here. The package is made from a thin cardboard box and any time you touch the box, sphagnum moss spills everywhere out of the cracks and makes a mess. I wouldnt care if it came with very much moss but its a small box of loose fluffed moss so the fact that im losing a portion of it just by it being handled is dissapointing. I personally think the cost doesn't reflect the amount here. Got for my VFTs It may work for two 6 inch pots... maybe. ... show more
