The cord was a little bit shorter than 6'. One cord was shorter than the other one by about 2 inches. One light came with the adapters to hard wire the light while the other was missing these pieces. Still they work as intended and I would recommend.

These are very nice. I am very happy to have gotten 2 for the price I did. All I did was find studs and mount the lights to them. They did not come with screws to go into the wall. I had some on hand. These do need to be installed into a heavier duty anchor than what is provided. I prefer the anchors that you can screw straight into the wall. One light arm was a little hard to maneuver while the other was easy. The knob to turn the light on is super easy to use and right on the base under the shade. I am so glad it wasnt on the cord. Installation is easy. Joint is pretty stiff on some lamps. I had to swing it a bunch to get it to loosen up a bit. Knob switch is hot glued on so it popped off the lamp on my side of the bed. Some of the decorative end caps don't screw all the way down on the bolt. I had to screw into the wall so the lamp would sit flush against the wall. Easy to install and operate. Perfect for plug in use but would be easy to hard wire. I attached them to decorative boards so that they could be hung like a picture frame and moved if needed. They provide great light and I never need to turn on the overhead fixture anymore.

Very happy with these lamps. Easy install options (went with the plug in vs hardwire). Good metal quality. Swings back and forth easily. Shades are sturdy and not cheap looking. Very happy with the purchase.
