In general, I really like this coop and the attached run. I plan to use it for only three chickens, and I believe it is more than spacious enough for them. The quality seems to be quite good. The metal frames that enclose the wooden panels help a lot because the wood that most of those coops are made of is not the greatest. Assembly was not difficult, at least not for me, since I actually enjoy putting things like this together. Everything was fitting; the holes were all aligned correctly in order to get the screws through. The manual was mostly easy to follow, with pictures for every step, although there were moments when I had to study the illustrations carefully to figure out the next step. One thing I truly appreciated was how all the small parts were separated into numbered bags. That made it incredibly easy to identify which screws or pieces were needed next. I also liked that most of the screw and nut bags included extras in case one got lost. That actually happened to me with two screws that somehow vanished from my hand without a trace. LOL. I still have no idea where they went, and I’m sure they’ll magically reappear tomorrow. So why 4 stars instead of 5? I honestly don’t think the “mobile coop” concept was thought through very well. The wheels should sit a bit lower because, as designed, you have to lift the opposite end of the coop very high off the ground to move it — and this thing is heavy. I also question how long the wire mesh run will hold up when it’s repeatedly lifted that high and pulled under such weight. That part of the design could have been much better planned. Another issue is that there are no proper handles to grip when lifting the coop, which can make moving it uncomfortable on your hands. In my opinion, a long, sturdy wooden handle or rod running along the coop and attached to the run all the way to the end would have been a much better solution.

It's actually a very nice chicken coop. Went together easy. Took about 3 hours one person. But over a week to get it all completely set up with heater, electric door and all the wiring. Our chickens are going to get the Hilton of chicken coops. Make sure you purchase a couple tubes of clear caulking it needs it or it will be drafty.

Very easy to assemble. Pieces fit together perfectly and the instructions were clear. It is shipped in two boxes. Size is good for 4 birds although as they grow we will expand the outside run. I can recommend this coop.

Instructions are easy to follow. Goes together nicely with 2 people and a drill gun. The roosting bars provided are metal and very small in diameter, I will be adding some joists for removable roosting bars to be put in and adding a stain to prolong the coops life here in Montana. Overall seems like a great starter coop for our first little flock. Came more quickly than they said it would. 4 stars because of the roosting bars…

Went together really well. Took me 3 hours. Not sure how people say it can go together a whole lot faster but I did have to assemble it in an existing larger coop, so had to carry it in for each step. When all assembled it feels really stout and made with good materials. All holes lined up. Assemble on level ground, i had a bump in the middle and attaching the cage part was tricky due to that.

I love this little coop. I have 4 small chickens that I can’t allow to be free (hawks). This is ideal. Easy to assemble. Now they can have a clean area every week. Five stars is not enough.
