This will not seal across the width of most bags, so you need to seal more than once. Charges using a mini-USB charger (cable included); I'm trying to switch everything to USB-C chargers so I wasn't thrilled about the mini-USB. Hold the power button for two seconds to turn it on and choose the heat level (1 for thin bags, 2 for regular, and 3 for thick). Hold the sealer down over the end of the bag until the light turns green (about 1-3 seconds). I'll say this - it's super fast and super effective! Very helpful gadget to keep things fresh.

When you have a house full of people that always forget to close the bags with a chip clip, this is a good thing to have. This is great for smaller bags, but not for larger ones. It does leave a few gaps on larger bags, but still better than nothing. The description does say mini, so expect that it will not work as well for larger bags. It is very easy to use and I like that is rechargeable.

The product design is chic and modern. I had high hope of making it a powerful little gadget in my kitchen. But unfortunately it stopped working only after using it to seal 3 bags, each takes less than 3-5 seconds! I have followed the instructions exactly, including using a 5V 1A charger. Besides the battery is unreliable, I also found a few things yet to be desired: 1. The power is very weak. Even with the regular Ziploc brand sandwich bag, the level 1 heat seems not hot enough to seal the bag in 3 seconds. 2. The width of the sealing edge is not ideal. The bags I use mostly to seal goods are the sandwich bags, which are 6" wide. The 4" sealing application is not convenient for me. 3. There is no marking on the side of press. So when the top-part of the sealer comes down, the plastic bag got pressed and shifted. It is very easy to have the sides of the bag not being sealed. Maybe I got a lemon product with bad battery. But the outside marking to position the sealing edge is definitely an important feature to consider.

I can't eat that many chips in one sitting so this is perfect. It takes about 3 times to use it to close a big bag of chips, but it goes really fast. Great product for saving chips and you don't have to have a million chip clips all over the place.

This bag sealer works very well for small six inch bags. The sealer will seal thin plastic bags very quickly. Thicker bags require longer seal times but very heavy thick bags are somewhat difficult to seal. The sealer is best suited to six inch wide bags. The rechargeable battery is nice and uses the included common USB cord. The battery charge lasts for a long time. The sealer comes with one replacement strip of high temperature sealing tape as apparently this item is consumable!

I found that this sealer sealed some types of snack bags but not all, leaving me to go back to those prehistoric (kidding) chip clips. There is a bit of a learning/training period where you practice a bit and figure out the best method to seal the bags without gaps. Fun product, definitely useful, but keep a few chip clips around just in case you need to go old school on a bag.
