Description

Honeycrisp Apple Tree is a hardy, small-sized tree that bears crisp, sweet, 3 in. fruit. Although it can be planted in the landscape, its smaller size also makes it suitable for a container garden. It has been a flavor favorite since it was introduced in 1991 by the University of Minnesota. Requiring some extra care to grow, it tends to bear a heavy crop every 2-years, producing as much as a half bushel of crispy, sweet apples. Hardy in USDA zones 3 to 6.

  • Amazing & Beautiful!
Like a lot of people I received the tree branch with roots but no leaves. So I went a head and planted it and being I planted the day I got it to now has been around 3 weeks. I was about to give up but low and behold. When I went to water all my plants. I was pleasantly surprised to find all the buds in the picture. I'm so happy after worrying about the tree. What a relief and surprised! UPDATE: A few days later and leaves are coming out! A few more days and once leaves started coming ~ they come! I'M SO HAPPY! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ... show more

This is just the tree I was looking for! It's a companion for one we already have. It's growing and doing well. So happy with purchase. Thank you!

  • Put a stick in dirt?
I planted this and everyone was giving me crap and then leaves formed and it started taking off like crazy. Not sure how long it’ll take to start making apples but it’s doing very well, better than my 6ft maple I planted. I’d recommend but like I said not to sure how many seasons it takes to start producing. ... show more

  • Sprouting leaves!
It’s been a couple weeks since I received this stick with roots. The roots looked much better than a cherry tree I ordered. I check on it and my other plants constantly and saw that it’s starting to sprout leaves! Can’t wait for it to be covered in leaves 💗

  • Quick shipping, great price and healthy plant!
I like how they ship it promptly as I am working on a tight schedule. The plant was healthy and I am happy to see its growth after few rainshowers. I planted it in a sunny spot and well irrigated soil/ area. I'm in zone 4.

  • From stick to 4ft baby tree in 2 mo
I did not plant her right away, I forgot about her for 4 days. Once I remembered her, I put her in a bucket of water with some root stimulator overnight and planted the next day. I had no hope for this little lady. I planted a “live” Apple tree from another vendor at the same time which was delivered the day before. It already had leaves but was super scrawny, and was delivered in dirt. I sprinkled some root stimulator in the dirt along with other plant stuff…. The “live” tree looked exactly the same, the dormant tree (the naked stick) is flourishing!!! ... show more
