Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Peace Lily sit in water or saturated soil. When delivered, it’s about 15-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Peace Lily arrives in a 6-inch ceramic planter. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. Peace Lily is generally a moderate grower, depending on environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with plant food labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When Peace Lily outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wide container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA Zones 10b-11.Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes only.

When I made this order I didn’t think it completely through after and then after I purchased I realized I had just ordered this plant and it is a AZ summer and 100* outside! But I had already ordered it and I was down for the adventure. My expectations were to find a wilted dead plant and then I was going to have to figure out how to return it. When it finally arrived at my house to my surprise it was Beautiful!! I was impressed with the packaging. The lily was still deep green with broad leaves and 3 small white blooms in the center. It looked perfect not at all like it had been shipped in the middle of summer. The plant was physically hot so immediately I took it out of the box and pot so it could cool down.Upon inspection I did take and Pune 3 leaves and a blossom because they were yellowing. I watered it, misted the leaves really well and I put it in my window for about a week so the plant to rest and recover and also get semi acclimated to its new environment. I noticed that there were a ton of roots and it looked like there was no top soil at all. I needed up just sprinkling some plain soil on the top so no more pots would be exposed and moisture would stay in the plant. About a week later I did a complete soil change. It was in the wrong type of soil, the roots needed help and I really like doing this with my new plants because it allows me to assess where they are and address issues if needed. So I found that this plant needed a bigger pot it had really grown out of the one they sent. I could see the roots and how the bad it was rootbound. It took me forever to try to tame it by trying to rinse what soil I could the roots were just extremely dense and tangled. I was able to remove some dead roots and beyond that it was very healthy. It did not come in the proper soil mix so I took care of that as well. This plant is just beautiful and fun and really good quality! Lowe’s and Homedepot have nothing on this company and I would order from them again no question! ... show more

Never used Amazon for fresh flowers, I don’t this peace lily and hydrangeas to two different people. They raved about them! I got to see the hydrangeas in person and they really were beautiful! Amazon is my choice for fresh flowers!

The pot was in multiple pieces and not salvageable. Thank you ruining my dad’s 90th birthday gift. It’s currently sitting in one of his bowls until someone can get another pot. I cannot as I live in Miami and he’s in Boston. Will not order again as the second plants pot was cracked. NO STARS, had to put one or could not submit. ... show more

The peace lily was is great condition but it was severely root bound. Also, I wish that the pot had drainage holes.

I am always pleased with the plants I order from Costa Farms and Amazon and this is no exception. This particular plant, however, this peace lily, is exceptional in that it is loaded with blossoms and wrapped particularly well. The pot I chose is beautiful and decorated with hearts which are particularly appropriate as this is a gift of sympathy. The plant is topped with soil and seems very healthy. Plant is perfect and beautiful. However, the decorative pot it came in was in pieces. The support team was very nice and gave me a refund to buy another one so I can have a decorative pot that was not broken but the down side of that is that I would get another plant with no decorative pot still. Also when I the second plant arrived that pot was in pieces too. I have bought several plants from Costa and don't usually have this problem though. ... show more
