I recently purchased a pistol and wanted to be able to keep it fairly safe without getting a huge safe. I didn't want anything fancy like a fingerprint reader. This arrived yesterday and I set it up. Programming a code is super easy! The keys are 1-6 so your pin has to be in that range but setting an initial code or resetting it takes no time at all. The batteries are easy to pop in since the battery case snaps in and has no screws. The lids pops open quickly after the correct code is entered. I hadn't tried it but I read in the manual if you enter the code wrong too many times, alarms will go off and you have to reset it with the key. It comes with 2 keys. This box has holes in the bottom to secure it to something and contains a kit to screw it down. This box has decent weight and the lid fits flush with the case. With batteries the buttons can light up and the inside also lights up. I was able to store a revolver, pistol, and 2 mags with no problems. It's not going to hold more than that, but for a small amount of items it's perfect. I am very happy with it. Update: I've now owned this a year and I love it! It has worked reliably every time I take my gun in and out. I am absolutely buying another.

This safe arrived very quickly and I found it to be a great buy. The safe is very well made, it is heavy and solid with a tight fitting door that would be difficult to pry. The hinges are internal which makes it very secure. As you can see from the pictures the safe will easily accommodate two guns with magazines or one gun with a lot of accessories and supplies. The safe will take a code of up to eight digits so it can be very hard to break in to. The keys light up and you can silence them so intruders will not be alerted plus there is a light inside that comes on when you open the door! The unit is good size (13.5”X11”X3.2”) but it is low profile so it will fit in most night stand drawers. It also has quick access and the door pops open when you enter the combination. The safe comes with mounting supplies and backup keys if needed. I already own a single gun safe, but this unit will replace it because it is an excellent product.

This safe is very strong, heavy gage metal. Includes: safe, manual, 2 keys & mounting hardware. Found it easy to program. I used a 6 digit code, can use up to 8 digits. It worked the first time. Lid opened fast, quietly & out of the way. Small inside light comes on to partially see contents. Key pad also lights up when depressing keys. Takes 4 AA batteries. The case easily takes 2 guns. I have a 9mm and a 40 caliber in the safe. I bought a second case and loaded it with ammo for 2 guns. Very pleased with this case, that's why I bought the second one. You can't go wrong with the way this case is made, quality and price. Customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this gun case.

I've had this safe for a little over a year. It's very sturdy and functioned great until today. I had opened it about once a month or so with no problems, but today after opening as usual, the lid will no longer latch when closing. I really liked the functionality and features of this safe and wish I could find something similar from another manufacturer, but at this point I've lost faith in this one. EDIT 12/20/2021 I contacted the manufacturer and they responded quickly to suggest changing the batteries. My batteries were relatively new but I tried new ones and the lock immediately worked again. I'm not sure if it was just a matter of taking the batteries out and putting them back in or if it required fresh batteries, but it seems to have reset the locking mechanism so that it now works properly. Updating to 4 stars since it now works and the issue of not closing would not have been nearly as critical as if it had not opened when needed.

Great for the price! There is no need to spend $400-$600 for a biometric safe. This one has a key, keypad, and a biometric sensor, and they all work great! You can program over 20 different fingerprints if you want. I tried it with wet fingers, worked fine. Opens quickly, not loudly, for when you may need to be discreet. It will keep the kids out. Comes with a cable so you can either secure it or mount it. Def should get more than one!

I have been looking for something made of heavy gauge steel, pry-resistant, and discreet to secure my valuables for a while. This Moutec PS03F Gun Safe hits the mark in all those areas. When I first received this safe in the mail, it was fairly heavy, which is a good thing. Not only was it packaged well, but it also included mounting hardware (screws & anchors), a securing cable, and 2 high security keys. The keys are not like a typical lock key, but rather grooved on both sides to prevent picking of the lock. Another nice feature of the safe is the built in LED light that illuminates for about 30 seconds once opened. The lid is spring loaded, so once you enter the code (4 to 8 digits) it pops right open. The default is set to 1-2-3-4, but reprogramming the code is easy: press/hold the program button for 5 seconds, enter your new code, then press the program button again; the safe will beep 2x and your code is set. I found that the light does not come on when the safe os opened with the key, but that's of no concern to me. I suppose if you want to discreetly open the safe, it's better that the light stays off. You can also silence the beeping of the buttons by pressing/holding the "1" button for 3 seconds. I like these design aspects of this safe. You will need 4 AA batteries if you want to use the push-button combination, but obviously not necessary if you just want to use the key. All in all, this safe is heavy gauge steel which makes it secure, has 2 options to open (code or key), and it is easy to operate. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good value at a fair price.

Very scarry my 4yr old pushed on the lid of the safe and it opened. Luckily I was there. After I could not re lock i took the two Phillips head screws out and found the pin that was welded in place that connect two pieces of the locking mechanism had broke. Safe was not unboxed untill recently and had maybe 10 or so open and closes. Hopefully I just got the one that passed by qa.
