  • Charger
I bought two of them, I'm glad I did, they are well built and the chords are of superior quality, well worth the investment to get two of them, one for back up, if lost.

  • mostly good
The good news is this is an affordable GAN3, that is nice and small, runs cool, and has well functioning PD and QC protocols, meaning it will properly choose, and do the full range of voltage and amperages up to 35W. The main benefit of GAN3 over GAN1 and 2 is that GAN3allows smaller lighter product. Here is the (minor) bad news: 1) this comes with a sticker that says: "Important: use a single USB-C port to charge, do not use USB-A at the same time. Otherwise, the USB-C cannot reach 65w, which affects the charging speed." OK aside from the fact that that "cannot reach 65w" should read "cannot reach 35w" the problem is if you use both ports at same this device cannot deliver more than 10watts per port. Meaning if you use two ports this device will max at 20watts total. That is not all bad. PD and QC are definitely working and you can charge and it will change a SINGLE device at 35watts if that device has the circuitry to handshake at PD or QC. And if you are charging your devices overnight, this will readily at 10W per, and it will do any of the above while running cool and in a small package. This is Gan3, and Gan3, because it runs cooler, will tend to last longer as well since the heat that eventually kills these is not present. 2) the cable is ok but it has no stress relief. It is certainly capable and delivers full power, but wont last as long as a high quality cable. So if you are cool with charging one device at a time, or two devices at max 10w each, this is a nifty, very useful, lightweight, small package unit that will charge single devices at 35w, or two devices simultaneously at 10w each. it will also probably give you more years of use than non-gan3 and be less of a hazard as well. ... show more

  • New Favorite charger with good power output all while staying cool.
We have all learned (I hope) that not all chargers are equal. Some are just better than others. This one is riding the 35w GaN wave and the 35w, USB-C port rocks (the 30w USB-A port isn't shabby either). Let's me charge large capacity batteries quickly and efficiently and thankfully, they didn't cheap out on the charging cord (6+ feet). We are all tired of the 2” charging cord everybody gives you. This charger clearly found all that extra wire they were hiding. It doesn't have a great split power output when both ports are being used, but they tell you that up front, so no surprises. I got it for the single port at a time usage. It's compact, doesn't get hot, and has become my new favorite charger. I'm a nerd at heart and like the GaN technology. Quick primer: GaN = Gallium Nitride: which allows for faster, cooler, smaller, more energy efficient, and higher voltage chargers. Comes from LED technology. All the best. ... show more

  • Works perfectly, great dual-use charger
Got this for a spare phone charger and it works great. Charged my phone quickly. Has both USB-A and USB-C ports, which is very handy if you happen to have the wrong cord with you when traveling, though a USB-C cord is included. There is a warning printed on the power brick that says "Important: Use a single USB-C port to charge, do not use USB-A at the same time. Otherwise, the USB-C cannot reach 65W, which affects the charging speed." So basically if you use both ports, it'll share the power output, and the USB-C will charge a bit slower. Really not a big deal. If you need the full power, just use the USB-C, but for longer uses, both should be fine. ... show more
