This product was larger than I expected. Sturdy. It has the option for keys, a code or thumbprint. So far they all work pretty well. I would recommend for money. I wanted this because I have kids but want ease of access in my room. This gives me peace of mind.

Lockbox is exactly what I was looking for. The biometrics was easy to set up and hasn’t given me trouble yet. The automatic light on the inside upon opening is a nice touch. The automatic pop up once the code or print has been entered is a nice touch. My only gripe is the “hidden” lock hole is blatantly obvious as it shows “lock” on it. I wish this was a removable sticker as opposed to the permanent indication. So far it’s worked great, especially considering the value.

Very happy with this purchase! The quality of the box itself is surprisingly sturdy, I was very happy that it has screw holes in the bottom so I can secure it down too. The buttons work great and I like how well the finger print scanner works. I definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for a good gun safe for a fair price.

I like keeping my Glock close to my bedside at night to be ready for anything but couldn’t stand the thought of one of my kids “somehow” stumbling across it. They’ve all been taught respect for firearms but I wanted the extra piece of mind. This stopbox fits into a drawer nicely and the setup instructions were easy to follow. This biometric setup went quickly and you can program all of your fingers if you want. Can also be operated by customized combination, key and if all else fails you can connect a usb c cable to it from a power bank or any other source to pop it open should the batteries expire. I now have peace of mind keeping my firearm close and keeping my kids safe.

PROS It can remember an incredible # of fingerprints(up to 50!) Using the fingerprint sensor, time & consistency of accessing my firearm has dropped from 3-5 seconds(assuming success on 1st attempt) to 1-2 seconds!(in a high-stress situation, this difference is HUGE!) The fingerprint sensor does NOT require the finger to be in the same orientation that it was recorded in(modern & GREAT for quick access!) Big enough for 2 pistols OR a pistol in a holster(so you don't accidentally touch the trigger while retrieving it) with a magazine(or 3) The fingerprint reader does seem to only grant access to the fingerprints it has stored. I've had NO instances of it opening for any finger it hasn't been 'programmed' with. CONS Instructions say it uses AAA batteries. That is false. It actually uses AA batteries. The entire safe seems cheap/thin with zero structural reinforcement The lid refuses to fully latch if closed too soon after opening (WHY?!) The lid "DING!"s(like a large bell) when opening unless you dampen the sound with something, like your hand I've had it several months now(using it multiple times/day) & opening the lid has started to make a squeak sound when done at normal speed(have to open it slowly to keep it relatively silent). This, & the above mentioned DING, are quite annoying because when I get up for work in the early morning & 'arm-up' my partner's usually still trying to sleep! Battery compartment cover does NOT actually latch closed, it stays in place ONLY due to some friction, but pops open if the safe is impacted in almost any way. When this happens, the electronics are dead, obviously, thus requires the use of 1 of the keys that came with it(NEVER lock both keys inside the safe!) While I DO recommend this gun safe(in & of itself) for one's bedside table, strictly due to the speed difference it makes over the PIN typing method(my other one was strictly mushy membrane-button PIN input which was tedious AND unreliable, especially when trying to be fast!), I recommend looking for a safe of higher quality unless this one's going for less than $30, which is about what I feel it's worth. ...especially while the latch is having the issue closing(which is FAR better than having the issue OPENing but, again, at any cost over $30, it shouldn't have an issue operating at all!).
