  • Hubby loves it
Color: Grey
He isn't exactly big n wide but he loves the extra space and the ability to recline, he feels very secure in it. In his words "Now I can game extra hard" hahaha. He says it gives great lumbar support and he likes the head rest as well. Glad we made this purchase, seems sturdy and of decent quality, priced well too. Assembly took about 15 minutes, the instructions were clear and it came with plenty of extra screws and whatnot just in case. ... show more

  • Good chair for the price but not perfect.
Color: Blue
I like the chair and feel like I got my moneys worth. The seat of the chair is lacking in padding and can be uncomfortable for long sessions but a simple chair cushion solved that issue easily enough. The foot rest is flimsy and I feel like it would break easily if you arn't very careful with it. That doesn't affect me much because it isn't a feature I care about or plan to use but it definitly is not as sturdy as it could be and as a taller person it was awkward at best when I tested it out. Overall I am happy with the purchase of this chair. It is a solid chair other than the flaws I have mentioned and even with the added cost of having to get a seat cushion for it it I still spent less money in total than I would have on some of the higher end gaming chairs. I would say this is a great chair for anyone not wanting to spend a ton of money on the super expensive high end ones as long as you don't care about the footrest function. If you want a chair with a good built in footrest this chair probably wont suit your needs. ... show more

  • Mid (Updated)
Color: Black
Original review: Overall, it's an okay chair. The worst parts are the head/back/foot rests. The head rest is set to a pretty specific height and it can't be changed. The back rest can be moved, but I just don't really like it. The foot rest is very flimsy and I feel that the plastic holder or metal rods will end up breaking within a year. The chair has good height settings. The recliner is fine, but I don't know how strong it is. The seat cushion is good enough to where I don't think my butt will hurt after long use. Assembly was simple enough. Instructions aren't as clear as they could be, but it's not hard. The packaging kinda sucks, but it got here safely so whatever. Definitely not a super high quality chair, but you wouldn't be on Amazon if you were looking for high quality. It's decent for the price. However, if you have the money and want an actually good chair; then spend like $300 or something on the better known brands. Update: Cheap chair using cheap parts. The mechanism that is used to lean back in the chair has already started degrading. Even when not leaning back and just shifting in the chair, it will make a metal *ping* sound quite frequently. Not only that, but the bolts used to hold the damn thing together are already get loose after a few days. This causes the chair to wobble a LOT. I will say that in the instructions it does say that the bolts will become loose over time. They did NOT say it would only take a matter of DAYS before they start becoming loose. Luckily I kept the allen key that came with the package, so it isn't very hard to tighten them up. Still, I am lowering my review to 3 stars, because this is just stupid. ... show more

  • Decent gaming chair. Some questionable design elements. Not bad but not great.
This GTPLAYER chair is a decent option if you’re looking for a tall, wide gaming chair, especially in terms of comfort and size. Its style is similar to most other gaming chairs on the market—sleek and sporty. However, there are a few questionable design choices that could be improved. First, the lumbar support is more of a bulky pillow that straps onto the chair. The way it’s set up is a bit clunky—the straps run through the seat's holes and down under the base between the seat and back. Personally, I found it too bulky, so I eventually just removed it. It’s not the most intuitive or effective design for lumbar support. The footrest is another area that feels lacking. It pulls out and flips open, but the bars that support it don’t feel very sturdy. With my legs resting on it, I constantly feel like it could bend or break with extended use, so I’m not confident it will hold up long-term. Additionally, the chair’s highest seat height is over an inch and a half lower than my previous chair, which took some time to adjust to. Fortunately, I have a desk with adjustable height, so I could compensate by lower the desk slightly to meet my new sitting position. But if you don’t have an adjustable desk, this lower height could be frustrating. The tilt mechanism also has some quirks. To adjust the tilt, you need to push the control lever down and then pull it back up to lock it in place. While it does stay locked once adjusted, I wish there were a feature to limit how far back the chair tilts or allow it to rock between positions—something many other chairs in this price range offer. Overall, it’s an okay chair for the price. I wish it was built a bit better, especially considering the lumbar support and footrest, but it’s not bad if you’re looking for a comfortable gaming chair that fits a larger frame. I’d give it about 3.5 out of 5 stars, but since I can't go half start, rounded up for the actual rating. ... show more
