this is a very well made cooktop. it has a nice glass top on it with a metal base. cooling fans come on after a minute or so. The heating element interface shows up in numbers but you can switch it to degrees. The controls take a bit of getting used to. This thing does draw a lot of current on the mid to high settings and it could trip circuit breakers depending upon where it's plugged in. I would not plug it into a strip that's almost a guaranteed circuit trip. This is a very nice cooktop for the money, and I'd recommend it. ... show more

The electric stove works just fine, however, individual unit takes too long to heat up. Also. If both units are turn on, it will likely trip the circuit breaker. Further, both units will not heat up @ max rated temperature.
