These lights are cheaply made and were a bit difficult to install because there is very little space between the mounting rim and the mounting body of the light. If you have a ceiling that is uneven like mine or a mounting electrical box that is not flush with the ceiling, the light's rim will not mount flush to the ceiling and you will see light coming from around the rim when the light is on. It is too bad that the light was not made with a bit more room between the light's rim and its screw mounting surface so the rim would sit flush with the ceiling. This made mounting these lights very difficult since I had to bend the mounting bracket to try and get the light to sit flush, which was not successful. Other than that, the lights are bright and not very expensive.

My friend just installed these ceiling lights. I took one star off because it was a little difficult to install because you have to line the screw with the plate and that part was not easy. But once installed, the light was very bright and vibrant and I love that it sits flush to the ceiling. I installed it the stairway leading to the basement and now when you walk down the stairs, it is very bright.

Easy to install. Used one of these lights to replace an old hanging 2-light fixture in a 12x12 room. Provides just as much light as the old fixture and looks so much better. The room has a low ceiling so it also helped in overhead clearance.

Home Depot was out of this type light when we looked so I tried Amazon and voila! These are just what we wanted and cheaper than HD too. Just right and brightens up where we put them inside and then tried outside as replacement lights on our porch. A true success. We love them.
