I use this in my dogs crate and it has worked great. It's not huge but just big enough/thick enough for comfort. I have a bigger crate than I would probably need for this mat or my dog but it works really well in there. I have washed it a few times and it still has good color, softness and cushion.

We used this as a crate mat for our dog. It fit well, was very soft and cozy, and easy to wash. Unfortunately, he ripped open one of the seams and tore a lot of the stuffing out within a few days--so, if you have a dog that's a super chewer or is still crate training and a little anxious, you might need to pick something a little tougher. ... show more

We go through dog beds pretty quickly and these are a great option for an in crate mat. Just plush enough to provide softness but not overly bulky. They are affordable and good quality. Good size to throw in the washing machine.

It's soft and fits well in extra large crates; however, it's very very thin. Little to no inside padding. It's almost like putting a towel down for them to lay on. Works for my younger dogs, but would not recommend for senior dogs.

I planned to use this mat for the seat cushion in the Jeep for the pups to sleep on. I haven't found a car seat that I like and with seat belts and security bands in place, I think a cushioned mat is fine. I don't want them to have a booster height to get to the windows easier. One loves to get into the window and has jumped out when the jeep was parked. I've also used this as a cushion to cover the upholstered bench at the end the bed. One likes to sit or lay there from time to time. I would likely to get a thicker mat if it was to be in a cage or an older dog as it is not thick. ... show more
