I was really skeptical that a rechargeable fan would have what it takes. I thought I’d have to trade off power and longevity for portability. I’m happy to say I was wrong. This fan is small but not necessarily what I would call compact. It’s neither thin nor terribly lightweight. At least it’s not as light as I was expecting because in my mind I was comparing it to a small clip on cord powered fan. But it’s not what I’d call heavy, either. The majority of visible parts are plastic, but the unit is sturdy. It is also very versatile. It doesn’t automatically oscillate, but the fan twists in almost any direction through a combination of swivel points. There are various ways to attach it, either on a flat surface, a metal surface using magnets on the base, or using the hook that folds in and out on the base. The magnet strength is impressive! I was moving it near my stainless steel range hood (the closest metal at that moment) and the thing nearly pulled itself out of my hand and snapped to the metal. I had to carefully use a bit of force to remove it as I was afraid I’d made a mistake and would leave scratches, but all went well once Hubby got involved haha. The hook does the job well enough. It holds the weight of the fan just fine, but it is only plastic, and not very substantial, so probably needs care when using. The fan also has a built in light which operates independently. The fan blades are translucent and move fast enough even at lowest speed to not make irritating shadows. Like the fan has speed levels, the light has power levels. There is also a timer but if I’m honest, I haven’t had the patience or attention span to discover if the timer (2, 4, or 6 hours) applies to just the fan or the entire unit. I assume entire unit. Speaking of patience, I’m sorry that I can’t speak to how long a charge takes or lasts. It came charged enough to last at least several hours before I forgot about it and didn’t notice when it stopped. Likewise for charging, except to say that after only a few minutes of charge it had enough power to at least fire up again with full flow. There are also options for charging, with two different USB connection ports. This is really handy because that way I can charge it at various power points and use whichever cable I happen to have available. It does come with a cable and it can also be directly powered from the cable. It does not come with an adapter to plug USB into a standard receptacle, however. Finally, and most importantly, the airflow on this small but mighty fan is impressive. Even at lowest speed you can feel from several feet away. It’s not what I’d call loud either, even at top speed. It’s more than enough to keep air moving in my seedling and curing space. My favorite use for it to date has to be simply carting it around in my little gardening wagon and popping it on wherever I happen to be working if ever I need a little draft. For me, in this way, it’s quite literally a lifesaver since I’m prone to heat exhaustion and have experienced heat emergencies in the past. They’re serious business and this fan helps immensely. I’m so pleased with this fan I might buy two more for other places that come to mind around my home. I’ll give this one a season to put it through its paces and make sure I’m still as happy with it at summer’s end as I am now. Even with the plastic hook, 5 stars.

Ok, first thing. It's basically the same as a rechargeable camping fan. It looks, works, costs and does the same. That being said, it's a well made, good quality, nearly silent, portable and rechargeable fan that works great and is highly versatile. The magnet mount makes it easy to use and gives it good stability in many places, it's easy to adjust the position, direction, and settings, and it's got really good power and airflow flow for such a little size and compact fan.

Honest opinion I didn't think this would hold a charge or kick out enough air had me questioning. I am so glad to say I was overreacting because it blows out the right amount of air on all settings for seedlings and other plants. The charging hold is accurate at the speed you set it on I have it on medium speed which holds 15-20hrs . Decent power. Not noisy at all. The magnet is so amazing holds on all my metal rack shelves even tried it on fridge. Definitely worth buying. Great quality and fairly priced.

I was shocked by powerful this fan is, especially as it is rechargeable battery operated. First off, it is quite small. The bottom of the fan has two strong magnets. It seems like a stable connection when attached to a metal door. It has 3 fan speeds and the airflow is great on all of them. Really strong on the top one. I haven't used it long enough to know how long a charge will last but could definitely see using this outside on a warm night or in a tent. I got it for a basement guest room with a tiny window to add airflow. It works well in that capacity. If you are looking for a small, strong fan, this seems to be a good one.
