This thing is junk. The motor works in surges, slow then so fast I thought was going to burn up, then real slow again. The way the mounting is set up is, you cant mount it on your corner posts because the wing nuts will rip a hole in your tent. Buyer beware, in a square tent, the wingnuts poke into the tent walls. I tried every way I could come up with to mount it, but they still poked into the tent. I could have mounted them on the roof bars that I hang the lights etc. from, without much concern, but that’s not what I bought them for.

Arm is crap. The wing nuts on the back are giant and want to rip through the tent and it can't be adjusted properly. Almost 1 month and it has not died yet but it does skip when it oscillates. New review 2 days later. Changed from close to crap to total crap. The fan just completely died so it is being returned 33 days later ... show more

This fan is a piece of garbage! I plugged it in and it rotated for a total of 30 seconds, probably more like 15seconds and totally quit. Just put this in the tent last night as my old fan died. Seems to do the job & is quiet. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because there were no directions at all for configuring the mounting bracket for horizontal poles vs vertical

    • Cheap DIY mounting kit for premium price.

The mounting looks like a 3D printed design with nuts and bolts connecting everything. You will also have to disconnect your pole in order to mount this. I didn't bother even trying the fan after seeing this. Not worth the price.
