Excellent choice for a drop in replacement for my 2013 Chevy equinox. It works well, no complaints, and makes me strongly consider this as a replacement for my other lead acid batteries. It should out last a lead acid battery by a long shot. However, I can’t accurately comment on longevity ar this time given having just installed it 11/30/24. Someone threw shade over the directions. To their credit, the silver button isn’t explained in the directions, but is covered in the literature on the page. That should not stop you from buy this product. Here is the excerpt: “Emergency Switch (Silver Button)】: After the battery is not discharged normally and causes a power loss, the protection board detects that the power is too low (30%), turns on the three-minute warning (interval power failure reminder), and starts the protection after three minutes, and it can be used normally for 10 minutes after the emergency switch is pressed,If accidentally pressed it will lock, press it again to recover!”

This is the most impressive battery I ever purchased for any car. When I took out the old one, it weigh about 40 lbs to replace it with this one and it’s 16 lbs, I was stunned. It is smaller with more power, never ever needing maintenance. The car started very well. The battery even has a display showing voltage, and charge status in %. It does not discharge over time. Ergo, when I store the car over winter or longer periods, no charging, no cables dangling, etc. Can highly recommend this battery!!!

Do not buy. Received the battery and when I took it out of the box I immediately noticed that the lithium pack inside the case was not secured and was bouncing around inside the case, so obviously all connections were broken and the battery didn't work at all. On top of this, to return it, I had to pay to ship it back because of their awful quality control, it cost $60 to ship back. So beware, stay away.

I wanted to like the battery, it seems it's a good construction, and light of course. But it arrived at 5.2V and the exclamation icon is lit. The indicator screen was activated already, probably because of the protector film on it. Which is dumb. It probably won't start my electric car without a jump. Unacceptable, really. I'm not even going to try. Guess I gotta return it. Did anyone else receive the battery with less than 12V, and the indicator on?

Initial review as have only installed it so far and haven't used it in daily driving situations yet. I took a star off because the instructions are not very good on this battery and don't really tell you much about the operation of it. For instance, there is a button on the battery that is under the display, what does it do? How do you know what it is doing? I pushed it prior to installation and nothing happened. At some point during installation, the display lit up, but I don't know why it did that. This battery was difficult to install in my Jeep Wrangler for a couple of reasons. First, the terminals are on opposite sides of the battery that normally is in the Jeep. The cables would not reach to opposite sides and if I spun the battery around, the top of battery and the location of the posts wouldn't allow the cables to reach either. I ended up putting the battery on it's side (tipped it backwards when it was spun around so the front side label is pointing up, this allowed the cables to reach. Next issue was the terminals were a bit bigger in diameter than the old battery, so had to work to spread my connections further apart, this was definitely not a pull out and drop a new battery in quick 20 min job, took me a couple hours to work thru the issues it posed. The good news is it started the engine strong, it's very light weight, it's flexible with installation orientation, and my trickle chargers worked with it to top it off and not throw an error. It sits at about 13.3V when the trickle charger is not actively charging. Will update after some driving use on the battery, and will update with a picture of it's current installation.

I live in northern Minnesota and so lithium batteries don't perform well outside in the cold, but I do have a dock that winches in and out of my lake (think like a drawbridge) using a 10,000 pound winch that runs off of a large 12v car battery. Since I'm getting old and sadly, increasingly cripped up (I've has 4 spinal surgeries), I am eager to find a lighter battery for use putting my dock in and out every year. Toward that end, enter in the TPE group 47 battery! That said, I cannot believe how much lighter this battery is compared to either a gel or lead-acid battery. I marveled when I weighed this battery on an accurate refrigerant scale and it is just over 14 pounds (6.4kg). The battery itself has a built in volt and percent meter and the battery shipped with an 85% charge. There is also a silver button and as of yet I have not been able to determine what that button does. I think it may be some sort of reset switch if the battery trips its thermal overload function and shuts off the battery's output. At any rate, the battery's documentation doesn't say, so a reset is my best guess.
