I bought this to heat water for showers while out camping. I fill a five gallon bucket and insert this inside with the shower pump running and circulating the water. It will heat up 5 gallons of water in under 10 minutes with the water circulating. I found the temperature sensor to be accurate, and I do like the controller. Once it reaches temp it automatically shut off and maintain the set temperature. Note: That if you don't have the water circulating while its heating, it will heat the water very unevenly and take longer to heat - which is normal for any kind of heater like this. I just place the shower head in the water and set the pump on low and it works great! It seems to be decent quality as well. I will update my review if I have any issues.

I bought this last year and had it replaced twice and eventually demanded a refund. I bought 2 this time thinking if one went out i would have a backup. Well, it faulted out with an E1 error code within the first two hours and is currently reading a temp 100+ degrees over the actual temp. This thing is junk. I assumed they would have corrected the problem in the past year but obviously i gave the manufacturer too much credit. Avoid at all cost!!
