  • Worth it!
Size: 21" SP Mower + Trimmer + Blower + Inflator
Love this mower & accessories! So easy to use! And it does a great job on our rough & bumpy yard. It's got a METAL deck which is amazing for a battery powered mower. They are typically plastic. Only 2 complaints: 1) this sucker is HEAVY. I can push/pull it with no problem while mowing, I just cannot physically fold it up to put it up by myself. 2) I wish the battery lives were longer. We can mow the yard with one solid charge, but there's not much left after. And it takes a long time to fully charge them. Was hoping to send my tween out to earn his own money this summer mowing the neighbors yards, but that's not very easy or practical with this type of mower requiring a full charge in between lawns. ... show more

  • Little issue at first, turned out good though.
Size: 21" Self-Propelled Mower + 5.0Ah Battery
My first ever cordless electric mower. At first I thought it was a dud. It's really confusing how to turn on, why can't it just be a switch or button? The manual was lawyer speak so it was very unhelpful on how to turn on. DON'T USE PROFESSIONAL WORDING- speak like I'm a moron, cause i am. Then the first use- the battery only lasted 10 minutes on a full charge- kept stalling out during this too, thought it was a bad battery. But 2nd charge it went more like 20 minutes and ran solid. I got a 3rd party 6000mah battery for it, that worked great with it too, now I can mow for almost an hour of pure chaos! Overall i am happy with it, though I kinda wish I had gone for the 80v model for more power. Don't be lazy about mowing and you'll be okay, seriously just don't let that grass get too tall or you'll wish you had the 80v version too. Oh and... even on highest height setting... thing thing cuts extremly low to the ground. Like... almost putting green low. I've never seen that on a gas powered mower... is this how all electric mowers are? It's nice looking results, but I do nick a few more rocks. ... show more

  • Great mower, buy extra batteries
Size: 21" Self-Propelled Mower + 5.0Ah Battery
Does a great job mowing my lawn. Lawn looks fantastic. Just wish the batteries would last longer. Two batteries last about 30 minutes total. My yard is flat and normally takes 40 minutes to mow. Batteries have never lasted for a full mowing of my lawn.

  • Nice lawnmower
Size: 21" Self-Propelled Mower + 5.0Ah Battery
This is my first bush list cordless lawnmower. The ease of cutting. The self-propelled is really nice. And cut the grass as expected. Battery easy to take in and out. Was very impressed by it.

  • Worst customer service ever
Size: 21" Self-Propelled Mower + 5.0Ah Battery
Prior to purchasing a Greenworks lawn mower, I tried to contact Greenworks customer support multiple times to get advice on your products. I called 3-4 times and was on hold for as long as 45 min before giving up. Ultimately, I decided to give Greenworks the benefit of the doubt about your customer service and purchased a Greenworks lawn mower (ML 40L02) on Amazon. This turned out to be a mistake on my part. My experience has only gone downhill from there. Once the lawn mower arrived, I was excited to try it out after charging the battery overnight. The product details claim the battery will last up to 45 min and is appropriate for a 1/3 acre lawn. After about 10 minutes the battery died. I recharged the battery and tried again with the self-propelled feature turned off (to conserve power). The mower shut off multiple times when I cut the sunny portion of my yard that has moderately dense grass that hadn’t been cut for 2 weeks. Again, after recharging the battery, a third time, the mower ran for 30 sec and died again. The battery appears to be defective. Optimistic that Greenworks would be able help me solve the problems and replace the battery, I called customer support again. After 55 min on hold I gave up. The customer service hours are short to begin with so there aren’t many options to try calling at off hours. At work the next day, I tried the online chat and finally got a person who was entirely unhelpful. She refused to do anything to help me because I didn’t know the serial number of the lawn mower. She also refused to let me chat with her supervisor or have someone contact me. She suggested calling the customer service line again but rather than wasting more of my time, I decided to return the lemon of a mower. I also send a letter to Greenworks describing what had happened but the letter to the customer service PO box was returned with no forwarding address given! This is really summed up my experience with Greenworks customer support. ... show more

  • cuts great and very easy to operate
Size: 21" Self-Propelled Mower + 5.0Ah Battery
I have only used my new mower one time but WOW! i am a 69 year old woman and was looking for a light mower. i was initially upset it wasn't 21 pounds (almost returned it) but it is still feels pretty light and handles easily. it cuts like a charm with one pass. i was able to do my lawn in about 15 minutes! (previously would take me 40 minutes with old mower repeating areas to get all the grass cut) so the power level was very satisfactory and the blades did the job the first time. i was giddy at how great it mowed! not wanting to stop i then did the side yard (about as big as the front yard, and then a little out front by our field and still had 2 dots left on my battery. i used it totally about 35 minutes and didn't even break a sweat. our lawn is on a hill side and only needed the self propel when i was going uphill. i only had it on the second lowest self propel level and it took me uphill like a charm. and as someone else said... be sure to let go of the self propel handle when making a turn on the back wheels or it will take you for a ride!! i did not need the self propel to go sideways or downhill. without the self propel on you can mow backwards also and just lift the front and and place it down into small areas and it cuts great that way also. and i did not have to repeat areas to get the cut nice like my previous mower which admittedly was a battery powered self propelled reel mower . best yet - the grass looks fantastic. ... show more
