  • Quality of materials
Size: Brushless 530 in./lbs Hammer Drill Style: 2.0Ah+5PCS Drill Bits
My uncle got an experience with this brand Greenworks. He is constructed a wooden house, used 2 simillar screwdrivers. So, i knew a bit about the good quality and well made tools if the brand, before to order it for me. I bought 530lbs 24v screwdriver with a single 2Ah battery for 70$. As an electrician, i can say, that the charger, that provide 24v/2A, should normally get higher voltage, to keep batteries to live long. Each battery of this screwdriver contains 6x Li-ion 18650-type cells. Every fully charged cell got voltage 4.2v*6=25,2v (discharged: 3,7v*6=20,4v). A simple mathematics says, that the current charger (24v/2A) phisically cannot charge the battery normally due to insufficient voltage rating. The charger should have around 26v-28v (1-2A) to maintain battery's good live cycle for a years and years. All of that have to explain to a customers the marketing point of the company: "your battery will die in about of half year, or something, because we want to sell batteries to you again and again, 70$ for each 4A battery, or a so. That's why we prefer to put incorrect power rating chargers, that slowely kills your batteries, because we're smart, but you don't". Well, to be honest, it's not a first and not a last manufacturer company, whose making money with such solutions. Enough intro-of-the-truth here. The tool is actually well made, as i said before. It solid, thickness. Made with good-to-touch materials. When you holding it in the hand you can feel, that the device will stay with you and keep working for a long time. Plastic mixed with rubber making you feel so. Brushless engine technology promise to you to serve good and for a long. I believe it's not a weak point. A thing i really noticed - is a good quality LED: it's much lighter, than everything I've seen integrated to the srewdrivers before. The rest things of the device good quality made, as it should be. 530lbs is enough power for most home tasks. 800/1260 - if you're working on a woodworks constructions. If you'd like a tool to stay for a long, keep an eye on the temperature of the body (on an engine section). If it heated to the temperature, when you can't hold a hand on it (exactly at engine's area) - give it a break to cool it down normally. Don't put it into the freezer to drop a heat instantly!) - 99% chance, that it'll damage your device, or a freezer :\ I wish everyone to finish their construction tasks with this tool, or without ;) Farewell. P.S. Few days ago, I've ordered an angle grinder from the same company with 4A battery and another type of charger. Gonna see the characteristics of the charger in future. Might be, it has those normal 26-28v? ... show more

  • Another great product from Greenworks
Size: Brushless 310 in./lbs Drill Driver Style: 2×2.0Ah+8PCS Drill Bits
My entire yard is groomed with battery-operated tools from Greenworks. Lawn mower, trimmer, hedge clippers, mini-chain saw, and, my favorite, leaf blower. They are efficient and time saving. No fussy sparkplugs to gap or gas tanks to fill. No long electric cords. Virtually no set-up or clean up required. I came upon this drill when I was looking for a spare battery for the trimmer (weed wacker). This drill comes with 2 of them, and they interchange perfectly. The big surprise is that the drill itself is also a quality tool. It has all the bells and whistles that you'd expect, along with a great carry case that reduces the possibility (probability?) that you'll lose your drill bits, batteries and charger. Works great for my household stuff. ... show more

  • Impressive
Size: Brushless 2.0J Rotary Hammer Drill Style: Tool Only
I got the 2.0J Hammer drill. I gotta say this one was very impressive. I'm in Renovation/Construction. I'm used to the Bosch Bulldog which is great but is corded and it's a little long and awkward to use one handed while 2 stories up hanging over the side of a ladder trying to drill into brick. So I bought the Greenworks. No exaggeration, I definitely prefer this one. It's more comfortable, cordless, and it gets the job done just as well if not better. The adjustable handle is great. The battery life is not bad either, I was out one day just drilling away hanging shutters and putting up railing posts and it didn't die on me till near the end of the shift. It's compatible with the Bosch bits. I'm definitely salty they didn't include any bits but that's the only negative. Very good. Definitely recommended ... show more

  • Another good product from Greenworks
Size: Brushless 2.0J Rotary Hammer Drill Style: Tool Only
Having purchased the Rotary Hammer Drill, II completed my Greenworks Power Tools shopping saga. I waited a long time to buy it at a good price and now it’s at my home. First impressions, it is well built , like all the other instruments. It's quite powerful and very well balanced. Battery life is also not bad (uses 2.0/4.0Ah batteries). It's a pity that bits are not included in the kit, but this is almost the only drawback. Now I already have six Greenworks tools, most of them of them have been tested in homework and have proven themselves to be excellent. They all take the same batteries which is very comfortably. Right off the bat, the build quality caught my attention. All tools feel robust and well-crafted. The ergonomic design is another positive feature. Battery life has also proven to be nice. The battery indicator is a considerate addition, keeping me informed about the remaining power level. Overall, I am highly satisfied with Greenworks tools. If you want something for home use at a great price for the power and build this is a good buy. But make sure there is an accessible service center nearby. In my opinion, the main disadvantage and a very serious one is the disgusting service after the purchase, or rather its complete absence. During the entire time, I only had two problems: 1. One of the received sets was faulty, but it was all resolved at the Amazon level within a few days. 2. But the technical problem that I encountered required contacting the manufacturer. I did not receive a single response to all my requests through all possible channels. The technical problem - after a year of using the impact drill, a serious problem appeared - it became very difficult to change and remove drills. Sometimes it takes several minutes until the drill is released ... show more

  • Well built and very durable
Size: Brushless 530 in./lbs Hammer Drill Style: 2.0Ah+5PCS Drill Bits
I needed a hammer drill to anchor some posts into concrete. I was looking for something cordless and fairly inexpensive. I came across the Greenworks 24v hammer drill. It had great reviews and the company seemed solid so I purchased it. I had no problems drilling all the holes into the concrete. It never struggled and it had plenty of battery power left after I used it. I use dewalt and Milwaukee at work and I can say the power and feel are fairly similar. If you want something for around the house at a great price for the power and build this is a must buy. ... show more
