Features

  • SWEEPS, LIFTS & COLLECTS DEBRIS: The TurfoMax clears and collects surface debris whilst simultaneously lifting flattened lawn fibres to refresh artificial turf in no time. It makes regular turf maintenance faster, easier and much less effort.
  • ENHANCED PICKUP WITH DUOHELIX BRUSH: Engineered for our most advanced pick-up performance yet, the DuoHelix brush system uses two lengths of nylon bristles in a precise helical configuration to optimize surface contact, improve debris transfer, and enhance sweeping efficiency. Combined with the 15-inch / 380mm working width, it delivers consistent, high-performance results across the full cleaning path.
  • POWERFUL 13 AMP ELECTRIC MOTOR: Driven by a powerful 13-amp, mains corded motor, the TurfoMax features uses a high-speed brush system spinning at up to 3,500 RPM to collect debris and volumize turf. Simply plug in the power cord and, with a flick of a switch, the sweeper does the hard work for you.
  • 11 GALLON COLLECTION BAG WITH INVIEW WINDOW: The large 11 Gallon collection bag captures debris as you sweep to keep the cleaning process neat and efficient. The built in INVIEW window panel gives real-time visibility of debris build-up, so you can check the fill level at a glance, avoid unnecessary stops, and empty only when needed.
  • TOOL-FREE BRUSH CHANGE: Designed for added convenience, the tool-free brush change system makes maintenance quicker and easier, so you can keep your machine ready for action with minimal downtime.

  • we've updated our review- turns out it just needed to be cleaned
don't waste your money on this product as it has some design flaws. the bag does not work properly to catch all the debris and the sweeper kicks out the debris behind the bag. it takes going over areas multiple times to get any light debris to pick up. the sweeper works better in reverse but the bag kicks out the debris making it more work to use this sweeper. very disappointed with what we paid for this sweeper Aug 2025 and now the price is lower at 284. update to our review- we reviewed how we are using the sweeper and made a few adjustments to enhance the functionality of the sweeper. we adjusted the handles to make it nicer to use. we removed the top cover and located 9 months of accumulated dog hair and fine dirt that choked the motor assembly. we used an air compressor to clean out the motor area and we cleaned out the 2 filters. the motor now seems to be working better. we've come to realize we need to clean out that area more often and to be honest, we are really pleased to see how much of the dog hair and fine dirt is picked up by the sweeper. the bag still has some gaps between the bag and the sweeper but we can live with that until the manufacturer improves design. we want to give a 5 star review because the sweeper is doing what we need- picking up the dog hair and fine desert dirt. it was working better than we knew. lesson learned. ... show more

  • Excellent to pick up leaves, seeds, & twigs from lawn
I rarely write reviews. We've had this machine for about a month & 1/2 & I wouldn't write a review until I tested it for awhile. We have artificial turf in the front & back yards. The back yard is about 40'x20' & the front yard is smaller. This machine was a life saver. In addition to leaves, palm trees drop seeds onto both front & back yards. They crush under your shoes & are difficult to remove from shoe tread (lime juice & vinegar works, but slowly). I read reviews before we bought. There were complaints that it quit after 1 or 2 times & that the chord gets tangled. 1. It takes about an hour to clear the front & back. That's NOT a long time. When I've tried to do it with a blower & rake, the time would double. 2. We've used it front & back about every two weeks. It has plenty of power & hasn't given us any trouble. 3. I posted a picture because some complained that the plug would pull out. Well, that's not the fault of the machine. We have a 50' extension & a 25' extension...necessary to cover the entire backyard. If you loop the extension chord around the green outside handles, you use up about 2' of the chord, BUT, it won't pull out. 4. Also, here's a tip. Flake out the extension chord with the part plugging into the machine on top (I used to rock climb & that's how you flake out a rope). Also, if the outlet is on one side of your yard (i.e. the side next to the house), start on that side. Otherwise, every time you turn to come back the other way, the chord will be in front of the machine. 5. Another tip. Although, the "bag" attachment that holds the leaves, etc. is large, you need to dump it several times before it's "full" because it will start to spill out. You can help somewhat by tilting the handle down to the ground (while you're stopped), so that the leaves will shift to the back of the attachment. Obviously, if your yard isn't level, then going downhill will spill some of the leaves sooner. 6. Another tip. You can see green attachments, 2 on each side of the handle. When putting this together, DON'T screw them in tight...leave them very loose. Then, you can spin them tighter. Otherwise, you won't be able to collapse the top part of the handle when you put it away. (This advice probably won't make sense until you actually put it together.) So why only 4 stars. First, I can't speak to those who said the machine wouldn't work a second time or only worked for 5 minutes. We had no problem. NOTE: there is a safety feature where you have to push & hold the side button in & then push the lever before it will start. Then you can release the side button & it should work as long as you keep the lever in. Also, I have 1 a pet peeve about instructions. The instructions consist of pictures & the order in which to use the pictures. However, I feel that when something has to be put together (especially if it's made outside the USA), instructions should 1) list & identify all the parts (which it did), 2) list exactly what tools are needed (which it didn't), & 3) someone who is native to the USA should write the instructions clearly (which it didn't). ... show more

  • Worked great for my turf soccer pitch!
I was considering a manual walk-behind sweeper before I got this, and boy am I glad I got the clean sweep. This is a small section of turf, 20ft x 30ft, infilled with sand (not rubber pellets). It’s directly under a huge Coastal Live Oak tree, here in California. The pitch is constantly covered in the small but curved and pointy Live Oak leaves, small twigs, branches, acorns and acorn hats, pollen. This thing does a great job. It’s not perfect, but for my application, definitely the best option out there. Usually only takes a single pass and viola! It’s nearly pristine. I run mine on the second-from-top height setting, and it has I believe 2 more lower settings than that. It’s so effective at picking everything up, that I have to empty the bag every couple passes, which is fine for me! I believe the review about debris falling back out may be due to not emptying the bag, or using too low of a setting. I have seen this issue when I forget to empty the bag. I was worried at the price point that it may be overkill for our small 600sq.ft. Space, but it’s perfect. It takes about 30mins but is so effective, I don’t need to do it very often. I’m not sure how it would handle things like big maple leafs, pine needles, or rubber pellets. The unit is mostly plastic, so I don’t recommend storing the unit in sunlight. I bought a cheap, tiny $100 metal shed from Overstock.com or something. It should be noted that the brushes do not extend the full with of the wheels. They are not inset. It also can’t sweep about 1” in from each side of the housing. So if you have turf directly up to a wall, there will be about a 3” untouched section. For my soccer pitch, there’s a border of dirt at least 6” around 2 of the 4 sides, so I simply do another pass with the wheels in the dirt. The unit is also a bit loud. I keep a cheap pair of earmuffs on the handlebar. Also this is a corded unit, which is needed to get the power required, so a slight annoyance. If your turf area is like mine, and have similar needs, I highly recommend the CleanSwerp! ... show more

  • How did this pass quality inspection?
Just unboxed it. Unable to put the left lower support arm on. The spot where the bolt goes is missing the threaded female end. I added a photo showing the left side versus the right side.
