This light looks great in our 40 gal tank. Lots of cool colors. Like the timers but they don’t always work but with the app you can turn on/off from wherever. Overall a good buy.

I got 2 30 inch lights to change out the hood lights on my 125 gallon black water tank thinking these would light it much better. But they did not at all. In fact they somehow made the tank even darker than before. Do not use for dark water aquariums.

The light itself is great. However, the app that controls it, is very strange. Not very easily understood, no instructions. It's pretty much a guessing game, as to what all it actually does. And, I'm a smart person, I'd like to think. lol there is no way to manually turn it on. But, it does have a timer function in the app. As many features that are completely unnecessary. who wants their aquarium to go with the beat of the music or fade in and fade out of colors. ?? ... show more
