While I have the GreenPan electric skillet and love it, the one thing it lacks is a slow cooker. I wish GreenPan made the slow cooker look/size that included the electric skillet with dials instead of all buttons. At 77 years old, the dials are more convenient with the LCD screen. I love the quality of the insert pans, the cleanup and look of the appliance, just wish I had all the features for these two products in one. GreenPan is the best out there for my budget. Maybe at some point they will make an all in one the size of the Slow Cooker with dials. As far as the electric skillet, I do use it regularly and love it. As for a slow cooker, looking for one with dials knowing I will have to replace the inner pot as it scratches......bummer ... show more

I bought this pressure cooker as a gift for my mom since her old one was outdated and way too small. She absolutely loves it! Not only does it have a sleek, stylish design that looks great in the kitchen, but it’s also much larger and more efficient than her previous one. The cooking times are quick, and it does an amazing job at making everything from stews to roasts. It’s easy to use and clean, and my mom has been experimenting with new recipes she couldn't do with her old cooker. Overall, it’s the perfect upgrade — both in terms of functionality and style. We bought this slow cooker specifically because it's chemically the least toxic nonstick, all in one, lightweight cook available. The unit is quite large and takes a lot of space for storage. It is attractive in appearance. Sold & shipped by Amazon usually has a return period of several months but I fell ill for a few weeks & by the time I was able to use the slow cooker for the first time the 30 day return period had expired. Please note the lid does not have a silicone gasket to keep steam inside the pot and produce a quality cooking experience. Neither does the lid have a design that will seat it into the pot for the creation of a water vapor barrier. A lot of steam escapes on sautee/brown simmer setting thereby reducing the quantity of liquid in the pot. The non sealing lid reduces the cooking temperature of the pot & contents even on high slow cook setting and will take hours longer to cook. Even on a slow cook high setting the liquid does not simmer and thus it takes hours longer to cook meat til tender. The only way to get the liquid to simmer is to put the unit on brown/saute which is equal to boiling and is too hot for the desired slow cooking. It is not at all like the old fashioned stoneware cookers where you could throw the food in and go to work for 8 to 10 hours. Knowing the problem with this cooker is the fact the lid has no gasket to create a seal and hold in the heat and liquid, I contacted the manufacturer to inquire of a lid with a gasket. After hours back and forth in email I learned the company does not make a lid with a gasket. This is a design flaw that could easily be overcome with the addition of a gasket on the lid. Not a well thought out design. The price is ridiculous for the performance of the unit. For $40 you can get a large 6 qt. oval stoneware slow cooker that will perform wonderfully. It will also have a locking lid and a zippered pouch so you can carry your food. ... show more

pretty happy with this crockpot as it is multi use and will allow me to get rid of a few of my other appliances. The inner bowl area is a little bit smaller than your typical crockpot brand crockpot. I noticed the first time I cooked on it I had to cook my meat a little bit longer than I normally would with a regular crockpot. Super easy to clean and hundred percent nonstick! It is a bit larger of an appliance as well, so make sure you have some space to store it ... show more

I love using my green pan elite. Especially for cooking a pot roast, it greatly reduces the cooking time and you can prepare great tasting food. The size allows you to make big or small dishes for you family. Solid durability and well built. The controls work well making it easy to use.
