  • Great Peace of Mind for Pet Owners
This GPS tracker is a great tool for keeping tabs on dogs, especially those that like to wander or are skilled escape artists. The real-time tracking and safe zone alerts provide extra peace of mind, and it is reassuring to know you can quickly locate your pet if they get loose. I like that the tracker comes with a durable silicone case that attaches securely to the collar and holds up well to everyday activity. The water-resistant design is also important since most dogs do not avoid puddles, rain, or wet grass. The app was easy to set up, and the escape and safe zone notifications worked as expected. The battery life is impressive and lasts much longer than many GPS devices, reducing the need for constant charging. The tracker is lightweight enough that my dog did not seem bothered by wearing it, and the location updates were helpful when checking on outdoor activities and walks. One improvement would be making the subscription requirement more prominent on the packaging so buyers know exactly what ongoing costs to expect. A battery percentage display directly on the device would also be useful. Overall, this is a reliable GPS tracker that provides added security and peace of mind for pet owners who want to keep their dogs safe and easy to locate. ... show more

  • Nope Nope
it is only generally accurate unless it's useless. says dog is at house number several doors down. It's mostly past tense; tells me where dog was and for how long. It cannot be used to track. Also: pet function renders device out of service. If dog is stolen by car or injured away from home and/or is unable to walk, pet function will not even try to help. Weird. it's highly dependent on wifi, so if dog is lost in low signal and/or outside, device is useless. In 3 weeks we have tested 9 times not once were we able to track. it simply does not work. Return. Good aspects: only needs charging every 4-5 days, stays on dog collar well, and it's not too bulky or in the way. ... show more

  • It is a location tracker, again it’s a location tracker It is a location tracker, again it’s a location tracker
This is a location tracker. What else do you need to know? It’s a location tracker, and it does its job well. There’s a subscription service for $6 that’s easy to set up through the app. Once you fill in your information on the app, signing up is as simple as using Apple Pay. The subscription covers the cost of LTE cell service, which is necessary for triangulating or GPS-tracking the tracker’s location. The tracker itself is quite simple. It has one button that functions as both the power button and the “panic” or “alert” button. There’s an LED indicator that shows when it’s turned on. After a few moments, it turns off to conserve power. The battery life is supposed to last a long time, about a month, based on its tracking function. I initially got this tracker to keep track of my dog. She’s a Shiba Inu, and we’re always cautious because she has her own agenda and can get the zoomies and try to run away at the most inconvenient times. This tracker gives us peace of mind knowing that if she does run away, we’ll be able to find out where she went. In addition to tracking dogs, the tracker can be used to track anything else you can attach it to. While we got this for our dog, the device is actually designed as a dog tracker because it came with a silicon cover that allows it to be attached to our dog’s collar. If you want to, you can use this tracker to keep track of your bag, car, or any other item you can place it in. It’s not as small as an Apple AirTag, but it doesn’t rely on other iPhones being around to triangulate its location. The app’s interface is straightforward and concise. It doesn’t offer any elaborate features beyond indicating the tracker’s location. Unlike the Fi app, which has a community and social environment with other dogs and their activity status, this tracker lacks a community or insights into my pup’s activity level. For $6 a month, you shouldn’t expect it to provide step counts or AI-based activity insights. If it had all those features for the same price, it would undoubtedly outsell other dog trackers. The absence of a community and insights into my pup’s activity while wearing this collar prompted me to reduce this review to one star. If you’re looking for the most cost-effective way to track your pup, consider using another person (elderly or kids), items like a purse or car, or even your car itself ($6/month to track your car is definitely worth it, especially since it’s cheaper than LoJack!). This multi-use, versatile tracker might be a good fit for you. I would classify it as a sleeper because it fulfills the essential purpose of a tracker—tracking your dog’s location. However, if you need to keep track of your bags of cash or other items that you can attach to this tracker, it’s the most cost-effective option available! ... show more

  • Reliable GPS Tracker with Useful Escape and Safe Zone Alerts
LI received the Greenlight Safe Pets GPS Tracker as a Vine reviewer and have been using it on my dog for several weeks. The device comes with a sturdy, water-resistant silicone case that fits comfortably on my dog’s collar without causing irritation. Setting up the tracker was straightforward, and the app interface is user-friendly. I especially appreciate the escape alerts and safe zone notifications, which provide peace of mind by instantly notifying me if my dog leaves designated areas. The GPS tracking accuracy is good, allowing me to locate my dog quickly if needed. Battery life is impressive—lasting close to the advertised 30 days between charges, which reduces how often I need to worry about maintenance. Note that the tracker requires a subscription service to activate all features, which is clearly stated upfront. Overall, this tracker offers dependable pet safety features, making it a valuable tool for any pet owner concerned about their dog’s whereabouts and security. ... show more

  • Great if it meets your needs.
If you need basic reliable tracking for your pet at a low monthly cost this might work for you. I wanted more features like a fully flexible geo fence and something more custom for a dog. Great if you want many people items pets in one platform for a very reasonable price. I needed something more niche for my dog. ... show more

  • Not durable enough
While this tracker works great for tracking my dogs, it is simply the same tracker that is used for children and elderly. It comes with a rubber case that attaches to the collar. We purchased 2 trackers, within a week of getting them, one stopped working completely. It was muddy and rainy out, so maybe that messed it up. The second tracker's rubber case broke. My dogs do play hard, but there is no excuse for something that is advertised as using for pets to not withstand the way pets play together. ... show more

  • Useful Pet GPS Tracker with Helpful Safety Features
This GPS tracker has been a nice extra layer of security for keeping tabs on a pet, especially for dogs that like to wander or slip out unexpectedly. Setup was fairly straightforward, and the app features like safe zones and escape alerts add real peace of mind. What I liked: Real-time GPS tracking works well once connected Escape alerts are helpful if your pet leaves a designated area Compact size doesn’t seem bulky on a collar Silicone case adds decent protection and water resistance Battery life is better than many smaller trackers App interface is easy enough to navigate The tracker updates location reasonably well and is especially useful for travel, larger properties, or pets that spend time outdoors. A few things to note: Subscription is required for full GPS functionality Tracking accuracy can vary slightly depending on signal coverage Device is lightweight, but may still feel large for very small pets App notifications may need tweaking depending on phone settings Bottom line: A solid GPS pet tracker with genuinely useful safety features and good battery life. The subscription requirement is something to consider, but overall it’s a helpful tool for keeping better track of adventurous pets. ... show more

  • The location tracking is not precise, but it will give a general location
I got this GPS tracker for our dog which has escaped in the past. The setup was pretty easy and I like that it includes a rubber holder to attach it to the dog's collar. It isn't too big, it's a bit thick though. It has an SOS button on it, but that's not very helpful for a dog, unless someone happens to press it, but I don't think most people who would find our loose dog would know or think to press the button, especially when it's inside the black rubber cover. It requires a subscription to use it, and I had high hopes for it. It does work but the tracking is not 100% accurate. For example, while our dog is inside our apartment, it shows our dog as being in the street. With it being that far off, it will be hard to tell if our dog has escaped but is near by. It seems to have a decent connection of 2 bars most of the time, so I don't think that's the problem. It also doesn't update the location constantly, however, it does have a setting to make it update every minute. So if our dog seems to have escaped, then I am hoping to turn that on to get more updates on her general location. So does it work? Yes, but it's not very accurate. It will give you a general location to search in, but isn't precise enough for what I was expecting. Anyway, it does help give me some comfort and peace of mind knowing I can check on her location when we are away. ... show more
