Excellent blinds! I bought the Jacquard White, and they look great! Same or better quality as the ones at my local home store for a fraction of the price. I was originally told they wouldn't work with Home Assistant, but I decided to buy one and find out for myself. The Zigbee motor was discovered immediately (Yookee - D10110) and worked as expected. I liked it so much I bought a bunch more for the rest of my house. Pros: - Look great! - Super easy to install/uninstall - Works right out of the box - Excellent for light filtering and privacy - Much more quiet than I expected - Works with home automation - Shipped fast and delivered early MINOR Cons: - The remotes come pre-programmed, which is great; but if you buy more than one blind, there is no way to know which blind corresponds to which number on the remote. I installed my first blind, tried to test it with the remote, and it started unrolling another blind that was still in its packaging. - The antennae can easily get rolled up in the blind, so make sure they are out of the way. I didn't notice the first time I used them, and one of the antennae broke off. Still works perfectly fine though. - The blinds don't seem to hang straight down when the "slats" are open. Nothing major and not that noticeable. I did install some rubber stoppers to hold them back (see image). Overall: Extremely glad I purchased these! * Note: My video shows these blinds working with HomeKit. The version I bought is Zigbee and does not natively support HomeKit (nor does it support a separate tilt control). This was possible with Home Assistant which exposes all your devices to HomeKit, Alexa, Google, etc. even if they do not normally support them. ... show more

These are great shades. The fit is perfect based on their guidelines for measuring and arrived quickly. The install was simple and they look and work beautifully. The price was literally half of the estimates from other companies. I would have to say that the 80% light blocking was a little brighter than I expected, but I installed them in a bathroom so its not a big deal. The quality, customer service and ease of installation have made me very happy with my purchase. Before making my decision I reached out to customer service, they were very responsive and answered all my questions. Even after the order was placed, customer service was able to change the motor type to one that is Matter certified. This wasn’t even an option with the shangrila shades on Amazon or their website! For being custom, they shipped out quickly and were delivered to my door within 7 days. Installation was relatively easy but did have a few hiccups when pairing them to HomeKit, as there were no directions for adding them to the Apple Home App. The quality and materials of the (Jacquard White) are great. I’ve been trying to convince my wife to update to smart shades for years and she is now impressed and likes the convenience. These allow me to set up some useful automations. I ordered seven blinds, including three large blinds for sliding glass doors. We were unsure about the color, as it is hard to tell from the photos exactly what the fabric color is from the descriptions. After we placed our order, we were unsure of choice, so I emailed Graywind requesting they email me photos of the blind fabric. They were prompt and polite and sent me photos of what I ordered. We were still unsure, so we asked for photos of the other fabric choices. Again they promptly sent the photos, which confirmed our choice. The blinds arrived in about a week after we gave the approval, which was amazing, since they come from China. I also had three windows that had round tops and which we needed to mount the blinds from the sides. This was not listed as a supported mounting method, so I contacted their customer support about it. They explained that a bracket was required, and said they would include it with my order, which they did. These worked perfectly. The blinds were easy to install. One word of caution is that when measuring for inside installations for lengths, be careful to check that your window returns are square. I only measured them closest to the window, but the dimension was slightly less at the wall opening, so the blinds were very tight which made the installation more difficult then it would have been had I shortened the length by 1/8”. For inside installs, Give yourself extra 1/8-1/4” less than the opening. I ordered all motorized blinds with a Bluetooth router so I can use them with my Alexa home automation system. This all works well and was easy to setup. The only issue is that Graywind ships the blinds preprogrammed with a “number” to distinguish each blind for programming. But does not tell you which blind is which number. They tell you to install all your blinds before trying to activate any of them. While this might be ok for a professional installation that puts all of them up at the same time, it is a bad assumption for a home installer with seven blinds, as I wanted to make sure one worked before going to all the work of installing seven blinds. I could not find anything on how they were numbered. When I contacted their customer service, they said to install all of them and try each number one at a time and see which blind moved. Again this is a bad idea if you have not installed all of them first. I wrote back to customer service, expressing my frustration with this approach, asking for a way to program them one at a time. They answered me with a list of my seven blinds with their programming numbers 1-7. It would have been so much easier had they included that information with the shipment, as I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out. Once installed, we love the blinds. They work great and look great. You can see through them when the slats are open, but still provide privacy. They were a fraction of the cost compared to my local home improvement stores, and of comparable quality. I would definitely buy them again, especially now that I know how to program them. ... show more

These blinds are high-quality and very beautiful. We've had them in our bathroom for two years now. They allow in light while providing privacy. It was challenging to order the right fit for the windows, but, once installed, they fit perfectly. Recently one of remotes stopped working. We tried to program a new remote to operate the blinds but ran into some problems. We called customer support, and a very helpful employee, Frena, provided us with patient, cheerful, and helpful step-by-step instructions via Zoom. With her help we successfully reprogrammed one of the remotes. I appreciate Graywind not just for the quality of the blinds but also for the outstanding follow up assistance. I really wanted to like this, because other people seem to do and it’ll make my life lot easier. I got tired of opening and closing blinds every morning and night, and I thought this would be a solution. I tried with one blind first, along with a solar panel and a zigbee remote control. All works fine, but in order to schedule which is ultimately my goal, it requires a particular amazon echo. So I even bought echo plus (2nd gen) (costing extra $100 or so). I managed to discover the device thru some struggles, but alexa doesn’t know how to actually open and close. I know it’s not an echo or alexa issue because I have an echo plug which works thru it. I gave up on this after many tries and decided not to buy any more shades as I planned if all worked, because now a scheduled automation doesn’t seem to be a doable option for me. --- update --- I found the zigbee compatible hub and it's called AduroSmart ERIA Zigbee Home Hub/Gateway (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HHKBGW8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It discovers the blind and its app can have you scheduled open and close just as I needed to do. I love it! I'm waiting for more blinds to come and will order more! --- update --- bought "Moes Tuya Zigbee 3.0 Hub Gateway" to try instead because AduroSmart only works for a few blinds somehow, I've been constantly use a remote which I don't want to do - I want to automate. Found "Moes Tuya Zigbee 3.0 Hub Gateway", and it works perfectly for ALL 9 blinds that I have. ... show more

We are very happy with these blinds. The installation is super easy. It took my husband a little bit of time to get the connection to our Alexa’s, but once done they work great. It’s so nice to be able to just say a few words and get all 5 of our bedroom window blinds open or close to the exact position that we want them. We still have some issues with using the remote because even though we tried to connected each one to a different channel, they keep getting cross connected and it’s a bit of a mess. But since they are working so we’ll with Alexa, we don’t even need the remote. Also, this company customer service is amazing. They respond right away and make sure to solve any issues you have in a timely manner. ... show more

These shades worked great with Alexa for about 2 months then suddenly stopped working. Tried to set up using the recommended Hub but was never able to get that to work. (they refunded my money for the hub because they said there was a protocol issue with it). we have tried multiple Hubs since but nothing works correctly. Thankfully the remotes work since that is the only way we are able to operate the shades. We are so disappointed because our intention was to use these with voice commands, routines, etc. Difficult to justify the cost without the smart home capabilities. ... show more
