Excellent blinds! I bought the Jacquard White, and they look great! Same or better quality as the ones at my local home store for a fraction of the price. I was originally told they wouldn't work with Home Assistant, but I decided to buy one and find out for myself. The Zigbee motor was discovered immediately (Yookee - D10110) and worked as expected. I liked it so much I bought a bunch more for the rest of my house. Pros: - Look great! - Super easy to install/uninstall - Works right out of the box - Excellent for light filtering and privacy - Much more quiet than I expected - Works with home automation - Shipped fast and delivered early MINOR Cons: - The remotes come pre-programmed, which is great; but if you buy more than one blind, there is no way to know which blind corresponds to which number on the remote. I installed my first blind, tried to test it with the remote, and it started unrolling another blind that was still in its packaging. - The antennae can easily get rolled up in the blind, so make sure they are out of the way. I didn't notice the first time I used them, and one of the antennae broke off. Still works perfectly fine though. - The blinds don't seem to hang straight down when the "slats" are open. Nothing major and not that noticeable. I did install some rubber stoppers to hold them back (see image). Overall: Extremely glad I purchased these! * Note: My video shows these blinds working with HomeKit. The version I bought is Zigbee and does not natively support HomeKit (nor does it support a separate tilt control). This was possible with Home Assistant which exposes all your devices to HomeKit, Alexa, Google, etc. even if they do not normally support them. ... show more

These are great shades. The fit is perfect based on their guidelines for measuring and arrived quickly. The install was simple and they look and work beautifully. The price was literally half of the estimates from other companies. I would have to say that the 80% light blocking was a little brighter than I expected, but I installed them in a bathroom so its not a big deal. I was a little weary before ordering, but I’m so glad I did. I purchased 3 blinds (71” long) for our mater bedroom. 1 remote, 3 solar panels, and I also bought a 4th gen Echo. Here are my observations: - ordering was easy, just follow the measuring instructions. I wanted to make sure I was getting making the right choices with the remote, battery, etc, so I emailed them to confirm before I ordered. I had a helpful response within 12 hours. - installation was simple. About 5-10 minutes per blind - set up was easier than I thought it would be. The instructions are pretty good. I would suggest scanning the entire manual first so you can see what the steps are and what customization can be done. - I made an error when connecting with Alexa. I sent an email to them and received a thorough, clear, and helpful response a few hours later. I was able to solve my issues by following their steps. They look great! They are easy to use! The price was great! I will buy more when it’s time to tackle our family room. ... show more

11/10 Customer Service I had several questions about how to program/setup the blinds, as well as how to sync them to SmartThings, and they were quick to respond and as a result of my own misunderstanding, I required a separate hub to link the blinds to SmartThings. They would always respond within 24 hours(usually less than that if I sent a message at night). 9/10 - Product Design Make sure you measure twice, as the measurements are very accurate. I took 0.25" off the sides for my measurements in fear that they might be too big and I'd rather err on the side of them being smaller but still fitting within the window. They came exactly the size I specified, so I probably could've gotten away with the exact number. The fabric seems nice, but probably fragile. If you have children or cats, beware they are not meant to be pulled and seem like they would tear easily. 10/10 - Installation These mount via spring loaded clips, so once you mount the clips with the included screws, you're done. The spring loaded clips make them super easy to take down if you ever need to. 8/10 - Wireless Controller The controller is easy to use and has a nice design, the only issue is there seems to be some sort of built-in polling period if the blinds are idle for an extended period. If you leave them idle for several hours, the first command takes ~5 seconds to respond. After the first command is received, the input lag goes away and it responds immediately. ... show more

I ordered seven blinds, including three large blinds for sliding glass doors. We were unsure about the color, as it is hard to tell from the photos exactly what the fabric color is from the descriptions. After we placed our order, we were unsure of choice, so I emailed Graywind requesting they email me photos of the blind fabric. They were prompt and polite and sent me photos of what I ordered. We were still unsure, so we asked for photos of the other fabric choices. Again they promptly sent the photos, which confirmed our choice. The blinds arrived in about a week after we gave the approval, which was amazing, since they come from China. I also had three windows that had round tops and which we needed to mount the blinds from the sides. This was not listed as a supported mounting method, so I contacted their customer support about it. They explained that a bracket was required, and said they would include it with my order, which they did. These worked perfectly. The blinds were easy to install. One word of caution is that when measuring for inside installations for lengths, be careful to check that your window returns are square. I only measured them closest to the window, but the dimension was slightly less at the wall opening, so the blinds were very tight which made the installation more difficult then it would have been had I shortened the length by 1/8”. For inside installs, Give yourself extra 1/8-1/4” less than the opening. I ordered all motorized blinds with a Bluetooth router so I can use them with my Alexa home automation system. This all works well and was easy to setup. The only issue is that Graywind ships the blinds preprogrammed with a “number” to distinguish each blind for programming. But does not tell you which blind is which number. They tell you to install all your blinds before trying to activate any of them. While this might be ok for a professional installation that puts all of them up at the same time, it is a bad assumption for a home installer with seven blinds, as I wanted to make sure one worked before going to all the work of installing seven blinds. I could not find anything on how they were numbered. When I contacted their customer service, they said to install all of them and try each number one at a time and see which blind moved. Again this is a bad idea if you have not installed all of them first. I wrote back to customer service, expressing my frustration with this approach, asking for a way to program them one at a time. They answered me with a list of my seven blinds with their programming numbers 1-7. It would have been so much easier had they included that information with the shipment, as I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out. Once installed, we love the blinds. They work great and look great. You can see through them when the slats are open, but still provide privacy. They were a fraction of the cost compared to my local home improvement stores, and of comparable quality. I would definitely buy them again, especially now that I know how to program them. ... show more

These blinds are high-quality and very beautiful. We've had them in our bathroom for two years now. They allow in light while providing privacy. It was challenging to order the right fit for the windows, but, once installed, they fit perfectly. Recently one of remotes stopped working. We tried to program a new remote to operate the blinds but ran into some problems. We called customer support, and a very helpful employee, Frena, provided us with patient, cheerful, and helpful step-by-step instructions via Zoom. With her help we successfully reprogrammed one of the remotes. I appreciate Graywind not just for the quality of the blinds but also for the outstanding follow up assistance. Stop looking these are the blinds you want! I have looked everywhere for motorized lift and tilt blinds. I've looked at super high end stores, locally and larger chains. Unless you want to spend a few grand they won't even come out. And places like blinds.com don't make lift AND tilt. Well these are perfect. Affordable, work flawlessly. The installation. Y'all they have SOLVED BLIND INSTALLATION. A few quick brackets... and the blinds just snap in. And you know how blue tooth can be a pain? These just... connect. And work. I am so impressed. The quality, customer service and ease of installation have made me very happy with my purchase. Before making my decision I reached out to customer service, they were very responsive and answered all my questions. Even after the order was placed, customer service was able to change the motor type to one that is Matter certified. This wasn’t even an option with the shangrila shades on Amazon or their website! For being custom, they shipped out quickly and were delivered to my door within 7 days. Installation was relatively easy but did have a few hiccups when pairing them to HomeKit, as there were no directions for adding them to the Apple Home App. The quality and materials of the (Jacquard White) are great. I’ve been trying to convince my wife to update to smart shades for years and she is now impressed and likes the convenience. These allow me to set up some useful automations.
