Unfortunately, I calculated the length incorrectly so I couldn’t use the adhesive component. That being said, I already had holes drilled from a previous set of blinds so I was able to very easily put these where the old ones were. I genuinely love this product. They popped into place super easily and have an easy to install handle. Somehow I purchased 2 sets and I kept the second one incase I need to replace this one at some point. It works very well to black out the light coming through a large bathroom window and provides much needed privacy. It opens and closes easily. The window now has a modern finished look. Excellent value for the money.

Mounted in minutes, no drilling, no levelling or measuring. Game changer. Instructions could use editing for the no-drill method but figured it out. Tighten until clicked and they'll be tight. Loosen a little if you need to adjust, then retighten. Built a guest house out of shipping containers and drilling through metal is tough! These simplified things and the cost is comparable to regular waffle blinds. Ours are the maximum light blocking style.

1 Star – Don't Buy This, Total Disappointment1 Star – Don't Buy This, Total Disappointment First, the wrong item arrived. I returned it and received the correct one — fine so far. The problems start at installation. Despite the "No Drill" claim in the title, it's nearly impossible to install without drilling. The mounting system has a plastic sleeve with a spring that just sinks in and provides no real support, so I ended up drilling holes anyway. But the bigger issue is how it functions: when you pull the shade down, it goes back up on its own. The material is basically folded paper — no rigidity, no quality whatsoever. It won't stay in any position. I paid $50, which feels outrageous for this. There are much better options at the same price point. I wish I had read the reviews before buying — I'm clearly not the only one with this experience. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

It’s a great product, but pricey. The instructions are missing visuals/illustrations on how to use the plastic squares for customizing the inside-mounting. When it comes to that part of the installation, one would have to rely intuitively rather than simply following directions which are not there to begin-with. I have a west-facing kitchen window, so I definitely needed a black-out window treatment. This window is obviously higher than our sink/countertop, and I am 5’1”. I was not in the mood to drill into my rental’s window opening structure, with limited space to access the area, so this was an amazing option. I saved money these past 8 months by manually folding up those accordion-paper black-out shades from Home Depot (which are less than $10), but every morning that I wanted sunshine was a bit laborious- remember I am 5’1”. As with most inside-mounting options, a sliver of light on each end will come through, like an eighth of an inch only. That is obviously due to the spring-loaded mounting-housing on top.

They are very easy to install, takes just a few minutes. They look and operate very well so far. The package includes a thin and thick 3M spacer that works well on the right side of the mount to even the blind in the window. I was worried after receiving a message from the manufacturer that they are not refundable as they are custom made sizes. I had ordered 9 blinds and replied that I had measured twice and they would work size wise. They block light very well.
