Although I initiated a return, this could not be completed because these were forwarded to The Bahamas. So I had to order another pair because I like them a lot. I ordered a wifi bridge and connected all the blinds via the bridge with the Smart Life App which is compatible with Alexa. It is wonderful. I set the times the blinds should open and close and how far they should go up and down. The remote controls work well. The blinds respond to Alexa voice commands as well. I liked the description and I still like the blinds after opening them but two big problems, I purchased motorized and with remotes and side mount option. I received NO remote, NOT motorized, and to be mounted from the top (this turned out okay in my case). If the seller can exchange my order, I think they “seem” very good quality, does the job, and easy to install securely. Needed a remote controlled shade for my mother, who is bed ridden. She loves it. Easy to use, was easy to install. Only thing that gave me pause; when installing didn't know if batteries were already pre-installed (they are). So had to open one end. But they said be careful when opening as connecting wires inside might separate. Of course when i opened, they separated and I couldn't figure out how to reconnect as wire inside was impossible to reach. Anyway if this happens, take off screw from other end and remove end cape. You'll find the other wire scrunched up. Simply stretch it out and put it back thru blind; will easily reach other side to reconnect the two wires. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These a brilliant for the money! Our home faced East and the summer sun comes right into my office early in the morning and through the rest of the living room and it helps heat things up. These are amazingly easy to install and not to difficult to program them to one remote. So far so good. The only thing I am not looking forward to is bringing the 25’ ladder back in to change the batteries. Yes, I am very happy with them. Hopefully, the seller revised their instructions but I was able to muddle through the programming of the remote and the stop length. ... show more

I initially bought 3, installed the first two without any issue (at least not the product part), the third item, the cap on the side was not attached and I had a hard time attaching it. Sending it out for a replacement. Purchased another 3 shades, same size, different color. Now my issue is when I try to remove the cap for the batterries, removing the battery cap was difficult (I tried). Is there a specific way to do this without me breaking any of the parts? I'd invest in redesigning the remote control, maybe a little bigger and not so flimsy. ... show more

Customer service got in touch and helped me getting the appropriate device which in my case is a transponder. Now it works like a charm with the Tuya app and even with Alexa. Created a routine, don’t need to worry about opening or closing the shades any longer. They even expedited the shipment of the transponder. Great customer team, therefore changed to five stars. Don’t buy these if you really want smart shades. You need to buy either a universal remote or an usb transponder. The universal remote does not work with the shades, you won’t get any support either. If you purchase the advertised usb transponder they contact you to inform you that the transponder does not work with the shades. Totally unprofessional and completely disappointing. The shades work fine with the remote, but you won’t get them smart. ... show more

I have to agree with the rest of the reviewers that the battery compartment doesn’t open easily (infact impossible to open without breaking or chipping).
