I had to iron them before I hung them up. They come folded with creases in them that has to be steamed or ironed out. They are good blackout curtains; no light comes through them. They look better in person the fabric is nice and thick. I like them so much I ordered them for my living room too.

The curtains are absolutely beautiful, but are barely even light filtering. They were purchased for a master bedroom, as black out curtains, but barely filter any light. However, they are so beautiful, I will use them in a different room.
