I love the height of this bunk bed. It’s perfect for smaller children. I have no worries about our 3 and 6 year old sleeping on this. My husband put this together in a couple hours. He did say some of the instructions were not clear or repeated multiple times, but he was able to figure it out. Some bags were mislabeled and caused some frustration trying to figure that out, but everything was there. I love the look of it and appreciate that the ladder doesn’t stick out and take up a lot of room. Great bed for small rooms! Great beds. Very sturdy. Our only complaint is we did get splinters from few spots. We got the natural color and they just seemed kind of unfinished but you couldn’t tell by looking at them. Just needed a little sanding in those very few spots. I loved the height for my three year old twins and how high the side rails were. Overall easy to assemble. Definitely think the manufacturer should change how they paint the pieces. I most likely am going to have to repaint quite a few pieces as the paint was already chipping and peeling off very sturdy and safe though.
