    • Is this an industrial scooper?
This scooper is amazingly sturdy. It is well constructed, and I have no doubt it will last for years to come. It is obviously designed to be used often, like in a bar or restaurant. The mouth of the scooper is a little wide for my liking because it doesn't direct the ice into my cup very well (some ice falls to the side). I tried my best to bend the scooper so that the mouth was a little narrower. No dice. You are not going to bend this thing. It also scoops a lot of ice, so no matter how large your cup is, one scoop will fill it. This will be the last scooper you ever own. ... show more

I got this so I can use it for ice. It feels pretty sturdy in my hand. This one is pretty big so It was hard for me to get the ice cube into a wide mouth mason jar with it because the ice went off to the side but it will be good for the summer when we use the plastic cups. Also since the scoop is metal a piece of ice stuck to it because it must have melted enough and refroze and that made it difficult to get the ice off and they didn’t make it in the glass. But if you keep it in the ice you shouldn’t have that problem because it won’t be melting if the scoop is already cold. Overall it does work as intended and I would rather the metal than plastic. ... show more

I really have nothing bad to say about this ice scooper. Where I live, we usually get lots of snow and ice which does a job on everything from my deck. driveway and sidewalks. So instead of using this as an ice scooper, I am using it as an ice melt scooper. It is just the right size and was just the right price too. Plastic scoops I have used in the past just don't hold up very long and wind up broken, all too soon. This scoop is sturdy enough and I expect to get years of use out of it. So far, the finish is holding up well but that's not a concern for me anyway. ... show more

The stainless steel scoop is a nice size and seems well made. I like the fact that it is narrow enough to replenish bird seed in my feeders. The stainless steel is not thick and heavy but is not flimsy either. We will see over time how it holds up to rust. Overall all not a bad scooper.

Wow! This is a great size, well-made, heavy-duty but does not feel heavy ice scooper. Put it in our ice bin in our freezer and it is just perfect. This thing is made to last and you can tell. No more grabbing handfuls of ice for our drinks. This is the perfect size for so many things. We will be using it at family gatherings to scoop ice for drinks out of coolers and I am going to order another one to use in our dog food bin. No more tacky plastic cup as a scoop lol!
