We purchased this as a portable option for when our six year old daughter is going somewhere with a friend. We recently found out not all of her friends parents use car seats, but we still very much believe in having one. So we decided to give a backless booster a try just as an easier option to move around than a giant car seat. So far, so good! She said the seat is comfortable and she likes the arm rests. The cup holders are a favorite feature because they open and close. My toddler likes to hide things in them when my daughter isn't looking. The seat is compact enough that it will fit in any vehicle, but large enough that there's plenty of wiggle room for the child sitting in it. As with all Graco items, I'm really happy with the quality and ease of use. I have been using this for a month now. My son likes the cup holders that fold in and out of the side of the seat. It comes with a shoulder strat to adjust the height to his shoulders. I kept him in a growning car seat as long as I could until he outgrew it. This was a nice, inexperienced transitional seat that is comfy and gives him good height.
