I wore it last Wednesday (11/1) to work and I received so many compliments. This coat speaks elegance and versatility as well. I would say it's true to size, I purchased the large and I'm about 164lbs. Oh, it provides great warmth and is not bulky at all. Great coat with nice fabric. I do wish they offered it in a size larger. It fits fine (44 inch bust, 42 inch waist) so it just fits. No room for a sweater underneath unfortunately. I'm still thrilled with finding an affordable, stylish coat.

This coat is beautiful and classic. The material looks, feels and weighs similar to wool or a wool/cashmere blend. However, it wrinkles easily. I would recommend using a handheld steamer that can be purchased inexpensively anywhere. The gold buttons are very cheap looking and unattractive. I found designer gold buttons on EBay (Etsy, etc….) that I will be replacing these with to upgrade the look of the coat. The wine/burgundy color is as pictured and absolutely stunning, with a deep, rich gothic look. I will be purchasing this coat in about 3 other colors in the near future.

I normally love everything I get from Grace Karin, but this coat isn't as nice or flattering as many pieces I have purchased from GK. First, the coat runs small, and the fabric seems a little on the cheap side. The cut is somehow out of proportion from top to bottom. It did serve its purpose in keeping me warm on vacation even when we were outdoors for an extended period of time with temperatures in the thirties near the Potomac River.

I am a huge fan of Kate Middleton’s style aesthetic, especially all the gorgeous coat dresses that she wears. I was searching for an affordable outfit to wear to an outdoor event that was both classy and elegant. This paired perfectly with a tweed dress and navy shoes that I also bought on Amazon. The quality is excellent for the price. The fit was a little larger than I would have liked so you could probably size down.

Color as pictured. The material is thick but not restrictive so would be effective for cool outings. But the fit is odd. I could not button, but it fit as sizing should in length, sleeves, shoulders, etc. Ordered small at 5'3 for reference. What I do not like is that the pockets are not "hidden." They bulge open and are sewn at the flanks/on top of my hip bone - no way could you use them. It is literally you standing with your hands on your hips. The deal breaker is the cheap buttons and the ill shaped pleats which cannot be ironed out. Very poor craftsmanship. It's a no for me!
