  • Great buy, very good customer support team
I had initial issue when I first wanted to activate the device so I called the customer support. I did not expect them to fix it immediately, but turned out they are reliable and quick to respond. The rest of the setup process was done relatively easy and I was still a little doubtful. Then we started using it the next day, found minor bug, but thanks to their support team again, it was resolved in no time. Just a suggestion because it is mainly for kids to wear, better not to provide a regular length lanyard but a shorter one (similar to wrist lanyard) and with mechanism like small clip or magnetic lock so it can be worn or put in kids' pocket. After day 3, I finally got the hang of using the device, checked all features, they worked out well and also learned how to manage the battery usage. I would recommend this for you especially parents to monitor and keep track of their kids' location because nowadays in this crazy world we just have to have that peace of mind. ... show more

  • Increasingly suspicious I may have been scammed. UPDATE: DO NOT BUY!
I bought two of these trackers, paid the subscription fee to activate both (the prices advertised here are misleading, it's quite a bit more). They claim I only paid to activate one, my bank account says otherwise, they say they'll call me back later. In the meantime, the one that was "activated" still reads offline, and all the edit features (geofence etc) appear to be fake buttons on the app, they don't do anything. Tried to call the device and got an error message. I'm increasingly suspicious I was scammed, will watch my bank account closely and pursue a refund if this isn't fixed within a few days. UPDATE: Tech support for the company helped me get both devices "set up". I went to give my son one today so he could go for a walk to find both are "offline". No explanation, both are fully charged. There's no on/off switch or button... I've been charged close to 400.00 for several months of what they call service, but haven't yet been able to use the product because of this issue. I guess that's why they charge you for multiple months before letting you activate... UPDATE: It's been a while and I still can't get the trackers to work. I called to cancel the subscription (which they hadn't advertised) so I don't keep paying 80.00 monthly. They said I not only can't get a refund (event hough the trackers don't work) but there's a CANCELLATION FEE OF 125.00 PER DEVICE! They did NOT notify me of this fee when I purchased, nor when I set up the devices. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF WITH HIDDEN FEES ON DEVICES THAT DO NOT WORK! ... show more

  • Works great, I have peace of mind!
This is going to be a bit long but should answer most questions about the device. I use this to track my autistic toddler son on the school bus and at school. I previously had just an apple airtag which for the price is a good back up which I still put in his bag but it updates about every 7-15 minutes on a moving bus which wasn't fast enough for me so I decided to get this. I use pinion pins to secure it in his pocket which have the same mechanism as those antitheft tags on clothes in stores, so only I can remove the pin with a magnetic tool It was between this one and angelsense because they both have an app that does the following: - route history - you can call the device (silently or with a ring, and with auto answer or press to answer.. Only numbers you enter in the address book can call it). The speaker on the device is LOUD so your child or somebody should be able to hear you even if they are feet away - it can call you (you enter a couple of numbers it calls in order of priority) - it has a geofence which sends you a notification when the tracker enters and leaves (useful if u want to know that they arrive and leave school on time) I ultimately chose seculife because they both offered the same features but: - the seculife monthly plan is way cheaper - the plan is no contract The realities of the device - it took about 24 hrs for the device to go online in the app.. I was able to call it right away but it wasn't showing location for 24 hrs. I drove around with it as instructed and it still took several more hrs to connect during which time I was considering returning it but thank God I didn't. - the tracking in a moving vehicle is not as smooth as in the Uber app, I have the 1 minute refresh interval plan where it updates location every minute, so you will see it hopping on the map every time it refreshes.. A 30 seconds plan is available but I don't think that's necessary for me - with the 1 minute plan the battery could last 2 days but it's advisable to charge it every day so u have enough power in case of an emergency.. If u set it to refresh less often the battery will last longer - just like a regular cellphone, it doesn't get good signal in some buildings. Inside my son's classroom has poor signal on both my phone and this device but I image this will be the case with any brand of tracker - the geofence is accurate to about a 100 meters I think.. So you CANNOT expect it to work like a nanny for you and let you know the minute your child steps out the door, etc ... show more

  • Hard to Activate
Once you have activated the device, the GPS device works fine. But getting it activated is a challenge. When you open the box, there is no instruction manual in it (you have to find it and download it later). Just a card with a QR code to activate. After scanning the code, you then have to manually enter the ID and proceed to fill out the information necessary and select a plan. Fine so far. Then you need to put in your payment method. Hit submit. You will most likely get an error, saying that your has declined the transaction and to contact them. Every time you try this, you have to re-enter everything from the beginning ID. I call the card and find out that the suspect it as a fraudulent charge. I ask them to push it through, since it a protection device for my child and I bought it from a recitable dealer. They do. I fill everything out for like the tenth time and if finally goes through. Two days later my card is on hold. Someone on the other side of the country tried to charge $2500 on my card. Coincidence? Not sure. But be wary. ... show more
