My neighbourhood is not that safe, I use Benbengo as a redundant system to help monitor my child along with another tag type technology device. One of them doesn’t require a subscription and one does. I put these two small things into different pockets of his backpack. The app works well and provides options to have wifi safezone and geofence, in a simplistic way. Most people confused with these two technologies. A wifi zone use your home wifi router id as the signal source, simple as that when the tracker gets in or out of the wifi range, you get a notice immediately. A geofence is also a virtual geographical zone, but it works only with GPS technology. So I’m living in an apartment in 8 floor, getting a notice from geofence might indicate my boy is in the nearby as you preset that in the map, getting a notice from the wifizone, will indicate that he is technically inside our apartment. These two types of zones works independently and give me peace of mind. The battery life will not last for a year of course like the tag, but a simple recharge of two hours generally gives the device 1 to 2 weeks of usage time, which is good enough for me. This is really a close to 5 star rating. The reasons for "not perfect" is because some minor things. The biggest being that when I activate the “realtime” mode of the GPS, it does send accurate GPS location, but in only every 30 seconds, sometimes I would want to have a 10 seconds tracking or even lower than that as a anxious parent. I tried call the service hotline and they said to maintain a good balance between battery life and GPS intervals is always a challenge. Well, I guess this is the best they can do. 30 seconds is good enough most of the time I suppose. The other thing that I like is the family sharing feature without me buying some fancy high price subscription, they offer same feature to all subscriptions, only difference is the time. I can authorize the access to the device from the app to my own parents and they can check the location in the app too. Overall, I recommend this solution for it's small size, good battery life, ease of use and accurate geofence.

I have had a little experience with GPS trackers and the first few weeks with this one has been impressive. Like most GPS trackers, this one requires an affordable monthly service. The customer support has been exceptional! We live in a rural area with good cell phone service provided by 3 major networks. This GPS tracker reports our dog's location accurately, with only small variations. (as will be with any GPS) Battery life is amazing. USB-C charges fast. More "Geo-Fences" than I needed to cover twenty acres. Notifications are very useful keeping me alerted to changes in our dog's location. The device notifies me when it becomes stationary and when it begins moving again. It reports it's position reliably every 3, 5 or 10 minutes. The metal roof on our house does affect the indoor GPS signal, but that is where "wifi safe zones" really shines by reducing reporting intervals, thus saving even more battery life. OVERALL I AM VERY IMPRESSED!

awesome product! it has helped us locate our little explorer several times now. very accurate on roads. can be a little confusing in areas where there are no roads to guide you, but then she's probably moving, so that's understandable. have tried air tags but those have significant limitations. benbengo is far superior and their customer service was great the one time i had to contact them. great value, functions extremely well, very durable (unless your little angel manages to get it out of the holder and chews it like mine did..lol), quick update speed. love it!

Don’t waste your time with this device. I had high hopes but within a few minutes of getting it set up it went offline. There’s no manual. Not very good troubleshooting help. I’m so glad it went offline before I put it on my pet.

In our bustling household with two little ones, I've been on the hunt for the perfect tracker. First up was the Airtag – sleek, long-lasting battery, but it dropped the ball when it came to tracking history and needing a connected Apple device nearby. A friend recommended us this new tracker. Despite its tiny size, it's a powerhouse. My kiddo lugged it around during our winter woodland adventures, and it barely made a dent in the battery life after five full days. Setting it up was easy, and the app is really well-designed. While there's a subscription fee, considering the peace of mind and performance, I think it's totally worth it. I'd definitely recommend this device to fellow parents or pet owners. p.s. it comes with a handy silicone mount that you can attach to your dog, complete with a buzzer you can trigger from the app. It will be great if they can add more color options as well.

I have had the device for 2 months. The only good thing I can say is, there customer support is awesome. Unfortunately, I have had to reach out to them far too much. The device tracks well if there is a strong cell and GPS signal. I do not have strong signals, so the locator does not work well at all and the battery drains very quickly. I will leave the unit off and try to use it when traveling where the signal might be adequate. My previous device was much better, I will go back to Jiobit when they have their new version available.
