  • Cool maps - no bluetooth - good speaker. Not a portable car play ok ! Postable Nav !!
Size: 7 inch Touch Screen
Giving this 4 stars for accuracy and the maps functions. The maps look really awesome actually!! But i dont know of i would recommmed this over one that has bluetooth options?? Just want maps in a unit that is portable ? Need separate navigation devic? Willing to use either the unit speaker itself , fm transmitting to radio or aux - in both the latter cases not having simultaneous access to radio or other audio for music etc.? Imo it falls short in the conectivity dept. I fall asleep in silence so this isn't seamlessly functional for me to use through a radio sound system at all. But the speaker is decent so i just wont connect with radio. There are other apps on the interface it appears to indicate other uses for the device beyond navigation but I have not been able to sit down and "navigate" the use of them i tried one night but was just confused -. If music can be stored on this DEVICE- and i believe there IS a music icon but i have not had time or patiance to try to do this -but i suppose if you could put your own playlists in then the set up to radio isnt as limiting - but JUST requires advance preparation. In conclusion if you are needing navigation for multiple , rented or EVER changing vehicles this is highly portable, easy to set up SOLUTION. I do not mind FM broadcasting . I think bt may be available on other such devices - may have even seen one from awesafe- I FEEL I have.- More options would provide the most flexible device that could easily move forward and allow user to choose the best interface available at any moment. That said the speaker on the unit does not suck - and for the size of it its actually fairly easy to hear so using this for nav without radio hook up is fine and is how I will use it for now as It will allow me to have my music & simply turn it down when i need to hear the nav speaker better (rather than change channels or inputs while driving ;) The screen is a good size and the mount works well. I am taking a trip in my prius c - has no nav and there is honestly no good location for my phone to provide visual nav. Without falling or blocking the instrument panel. Plus i will use for my music and phoen calls through the radio - So this is a good solution it will just separatet things and provide dedicated nav screen .and Again the navigation appearance is pretty awesome ! - I will try to get some pics during the trip - maybe my thoughts on it will improve during trip- finally using it outside of my driveway or plugged into 12v converter in bed , lol. I may be jaded from installing car play radios into nearly every car we own EXCEPT the Prius ;) I think my expectation was something different.. more like portable car play that plugged into or could be fm transmitted. Just assumed it could accept bluetooth connection from my phone or would bluetooth to a car radio. Also ordered to take overseas with me where phone wont work & i may or may not get a car with navigation or be able to make them work OR hook up bluetooth - its happened. In reviewing the full description it is exactly what it says it is - I just assumed BT as I have installed several awesafe car play radios ( love them ) - i guess the appearance made my mind jump to conclusions - as long as you UNDERSTAND the specs - inputs- output options and make an informed decision about what you are getting you should be very happy with this. ... show more

Navigation works but you have limited options where you want to access a location. You get what you pay for for me I won't waste my money on this.

  • You get what you pay for, but I'd save my money, (gooogle) but this is a great consolation option
Size: 7 inch Touch Screen
I love that the screen is large I hate that you have to "prepare" the battery We live in a comes precharged secioty, this is not And they're phasing out cigarette lighters, (smoking kills, yeah? Not a news flash) so why is that even an option? Old cars are bad for the environment, why enable them? It has zero memory without a micoSD card, trying to save home was an issue after the update I didn't have any other option but to accept Maybe for the elderly or disabled yet mobile itd add security to their trip, but Google maps is free and way more convenient and you likely already have it in you're pocket ... show more

  • Pretty decent...all things considered
Size: 7 inch Touch Screen
When coming up with my final rating, I was stuck between a three and a four. Ultimately, I feel it deserves four stars because it does offer great value and decent functionality. It isn't as fancy as the top-tier branded GPS offerings, but I was happy with what it could do. My job constantly puts me in far-flung small towns, so I know specifically what I need from a GPS device. What impressed me the most was the POI database and its searching algorithm. I honestly was not expecting much in that department. Yet, it exceeded my expectations even though some of the data is outmoded. There is a QR code you can scan for map updates. I haven't tried that out yet. I also liked the routing options, which provided me with several interesting itineraries to get to my destination. There are also numerous settings for voice directions and map/navigation display elements. The number of things you can customize make this GPS fairly impressive. Of course, not everything is noteworthy. The screen is just mediocre, which is not shocking for something this economical. I also found the speeding admonitions and missed turn announcements a bit annoying. Luckily, you can shut those off. It would tell you to slow down even if you were going exactly the posted speed limit. Overall, I do like this GPS very much. As someone who travels frequently, I'm quite satisfied with the capabilities it has shown thus far. ... show more
