    • Great little beginner drone
This drone has been awesome. It flies well and can take a bit of a beating. My son has crashed it multiple times and it’s still flying. The controls are responsive the flight time is decent and the camera quality is pretty decent for the price. I have put multiple hours on this sucker and it keeps flying strong. It does self level which is very nice for beginners and prevents many crashes. It’s quite stable so excellent for picture taking. It handles a mild wind but I wouldn’t fly it outside of the wind becomes moderate. The 3 fly speeds are handy but I generally just prefer to set it to the fastest speed and do wish that was a slider switch but it’s simple enough to tap it a few times. The audio feedback is a nice touch knowing which selection your on without looking. The only 2 issues first the charging seems to take longer than I would expect. Second and this may just be user error I can’t seem to connect the camera and use the controller at the same time. I can use the camera but only with phone control. I certainly prefer controlling using the controller. Overall for the price this is a fantastic beginner drone for the cost! ... show more

I have several drones including a Mavic. I'm a drone and private pilot. This drone extremely disappointed. I liked the idea of an integrated display so I didn't have to attach my phone. Auto pairing was nice. Camera was nice. Size of the drone was nice. That's about where it ended. This thing can't handle a light breeze! It goes all over the place. My Mavic and other drones, no issue. The startup requirements are stupid. Rotate it left. Rotate it right. Twist it vertically. Good grief. Then on the last test flight, the controls would not respond according to the input. Left was right. Right was left. RTH nearly landed on the roof. It took 5 minutes to get it back with the weirdest stick inputs. No thanks. I dont need that misery in a drone. Return started. ... show more

Here is my main piece of advice: you probably need to already know a little bit about how to fly a drone before you buy this one. Even though the button connection is simple, letting the satellite telemetry line up and managing the flight features could be confusing for a kid or someone who has never handled a drone at all before. If you have absolutely zero experience, I highly suggest buying a super cheapy practice drone first. You’re probably going to crash it several times before you figure out your controls, and I definitely wouldn't advise dropping cash on anything that costs over 50 bucks until you actually know what you're doing. Unboxing & Setup: The unboxing is as simple as it gets. It arrived in a standard box; you open it up, and there it is. There’s really no tedious unpacking or assembly of parts required. Setting it up to fly was pretty easy and connected right away—it's practically like just clicking a button. The only specific thing to note is that you do have to take it outside and let the satellites line up first, which took about five minutes to calibrate. Bottom Line: If you already have the basics down and want a highly portable, grab-and-go setup without using your phone, this kit is an excellent value. ... show more

I bought the chubory G9 pluto drone, it wasn’t great. It claims in the description to have up to 1km of range, I haven’t been able to get it past about 80meters with out the video lagging out. The drone has some decent features if you hit the home button it returns to the take of point, it got good speed being able to reach 10kmh. It’s a OK drone if you’re looking to film close by videos in about 1080p. Overall I would Not recommend this drone, when you can get one that’s 10times better from dji. ... show more

    • If you’re a beginner this is perfect!
I bought this just for myself, but little did I know my family would use it more than me. Everyone is having a ton of fun with this drone. The front camera is actually pretty decent quality I’m surprised it’s that good for the price! The bottom camera is kind of low resolution but it’s a nice option to have. This thing is pretty amazing to fly, you can even fly it indoors if you practice it gently. We usually just fly it in the living room and land it to see who can control it really well. This drone is incredibly light, has led lights as well, and it came with two batteries! Charging the battery is pretty straightforward you plug the cable into the battery. Battery life could be better, but this is standard for most drones. Overall, for the price this is an incredible option. Why? I want to record drone footage when I travel and this is at a cheap enough price, that if I crash it or lose it or etc I wouldn’t feel too bad. Highly recommended. Tons of fun and an excellent gift. Lastly, I just wanna let you know how to control it so you can have a better experience without having to learn like how I did. You click and hold the drone’s power button and it turns on flashing lights. Let go of the button, then press the center button on the controller, once the controllers lights turn on, immediately shift left stick up until you hear a beep, then immediately down until you hear a second beep. The remote is now paired to the drone. Press the upward arrow button on the left hand side, and the drone will shoot up 3 feet into the air and it will hover, this is a great way to get it to float without manually flying it up off the ground. Lastly, the left stick does 4 things. Pushing it forward makes the drone rise up towards the sky. Pulling that left stick back makes the drone descend towards the ground. Pushing the left stick right or left, simply rotates the drone. I don’t recommend you rotate the drone until you’re more experienced. The right stick if you push it forward, the drone goes forward. If you pull it back, the drone will go backwards. Pushing the right stick right will make the drone go towards the right. Pushing it left will make it go left. In conclusion, the right stick controls it on a X axis. And the left stick up and down raises or lowers the drone. Hope this review helps, happy holidays! ... show more
