Got this yesterday and I was so excited I rushed right to the room and started to install I know right where I was going to put them. Well, my wife seen them and clamed them for herself so now they are in the bedroom on either side of the headboard next to the windows. Thay went up real fast and easy took about 5 min to get them up and working. I tend to like Govee products and these are no different. Bright, good lights but my only complaint is that the wire hangs down and have to be plugged in. It just makes these beautiful lights look cheaper than they are. This is not a problem with the lights but now I have to have an electrician run power to the lights behind the wall ... show more

    • Great, if ugly, wall sconces...
The media could not be loaded. These are not wall sconces in the normal way of thinking about wall sconces. There's nothing decorative about the actual body of the lights at all. In fact, purely as objects hung on a wall, these lights are kind of ugly. But as smart LED lights used to frame a picture or television set, or just to add juice to the atmosphere in a room, these things are wonderful. If you can live with the white plastic look, you'll love these lamps for the backlighting they put out. In fact, the LED lighting is so nice, I think Govee missed an opportunity to have the lights move upscale a notch by putting them in rounded white plastic cases. Had they been placed in black anodized aluminum boxes, these lights would fit in much more sophisticated settings. Here's hoping Govee puts these out in a better box.... Finally, build quality is solid. The lights are fun and the hanging and wiring procedures are well-thought-out. I think there are many LED diodes in the fixtures because the movement of light is smooth and non-jumpy or non-pixelated in appearance. ... show more
