I bought these as a less expensive option to add to my other VeSync app devices since I assumed they were straight forward bluetooth devices. But alas they could not be recognized by VeSync. I ended up having to download and use the free Google's GoVee home app where it easily found them. Not a big deal since it's the way I use the timers, it's a one and done process. Still disappointed they don't work with the app I already used.

I have a few Govee LEDs so I went with them this time. Other Chinese products look exactly the same and were cheaper, but decided to go with the one that has worked well in the past. I was not disappointed. Adding was super simple in app. Open app, click add, it finds the device, press the power button once and boom it was done. I then added to Google Home using the instructions and it went through super easy and i only use if via Google Home and its working as it should. Adding the first was simple, adding the second took a little time as I already added Govee/works with Google Home from the first one and I did have to click around to get the second one added - adding additional Govee devices to Google Home was not 100% clear to me.

Bottom line is, they work well, takes a few seconds to connect. (Honestly may be my Internet) However, to me, the app is over the top for a basic user like myself. Someone more tech savvy wanting all the gadgets and stuff would love it.

Like my other Govee products, these plugs were super easy to setup (I also have a fan & TV LEDs… I’m obsessed). I just utilize the app on my phone for setup and setting configuration. I was able to set a time and days for them to turn on/off. I like that they don’t take up the entire faceplate so you can still use the other outlets. I’m happy with this purchase so far. Definitely recommend.

These passed my test of ease of setting up, ease of connecting to my 2.4GHz WiFi, ease of installing the app on my phone and controlling the switch. App is pretty basic, but it just works. Can't ask for anything more than that!
