    • Great quality lights and reasonably priced.

These lights work great. The Govee app is easy to download and use instead of a remote. There are lots of options for scenes or solid colors. The app allows you to set timers and it remembers all your settings. The lights are bright and look to be high quality. I used two strings of light and they both connected flawlessly. I ... show more

    • Fantastic Product that they stand behind.
Size: 96ft
Review Image by Thomas Nelson
I originally purchased these last November with the plan of putting them up in the front yard as a Christmas decoration. I found I enjoyed them so much, and received so many compliments on them that they remained up after Christmas with a color change. When the mood hits, I modify the colors, but many times just the homey glow of white bedecking the tree gets selected. The set up and use was very straightforward, and there was zero hassle getting them connected to the wifi router indoors. The app works wonderfully, and you can customize your own appearance if you do not like any of the 100 or so pre-sets that are already in place. I am quite delayed on putting this review up, but after the lights stopped working, I knew I needed to come chime in. When I noticed the lights were not coming on, I figured I was sunk. I used their app to create a ticket late on a Saturday, and was shocked to get a response on Sunday asking me for more information, and asking for me to video trying to turn the lights on, and showing trying to hold down the button to reset the strand. After I messaged back with the video, they informed me that I was under warranty, and they were shipping me out a replacement set that showed up a couple days later. I was pretty blown away, and now I am considering some additional permanent lighting for the house, and will definitely favor the Govee brand. ... show more

    • Love these!
Size: 144ft
The Govee S14 Bulb Outdoor String Lights are absolutely amazing! The 144-foot length gives plenty of coverage, and the RGBICWW colors and effects make it so easy to change the atmosphere depending on the occasion. The bulbs are bright, vibrant, and look beautiful both during the day and at night. I especially love how many customization options there are through the app. You can change colors, create different lighting effects, and set the mood for everything from everyday patio use to parties and holidays. The lights also feel well-made and durable enough for outdoor use. They’ve completely transformed our outdoor space and made our patio feel so much more inviting. If you’re looking for outdoor string lights that are bright, customizable, and fun, these are definitely worth it! ... show more

    • Bright, Easy to Customize & Perfect for Backyard Entertaining!
Size: 96ft
We installed the Govee S14 outdoor string lights along our backyard awning, and they completely transformed the space! The length was perfect and covered the entire awning without needing to buy an extra set, which was a huge plus. The setup was simple, and the app is very user-friendly. As long as you have a reliable Wi-Fi signal in your backyard, connecting and controlling the lights is quick and easy. I love that you can turn them on manually or set schedules so they’re ready to go every evening without having to think about it. One of my favorite features is all the lighting options. The app comes with tons of preset scenes, including fun holiday themes, and you can also create your own custom colors and effects to match any occasion. Whether we’re hosting a backyard BBQ, having friends over for a party, or just relaxing outside in the evening, there’s always a lighting mode that fits the mood. The lights are bright, look high-quality, and have made our backyard feel much more inviting. If you’re looking for smart outdoor string lights that are easy to install, simple to control with an app, and fully customizable, I highly recommend the Govee S14 lights. They’ve been a fantastic addition to our outdoor space! ... show more

    • Bright, durable, and fully Govee-integrated outdoor string lights
Size: 144ft
This review is for the Govee S14 String Lights 2, priced at $170 for 144 feet. Each box includes three strands, one controller, and one power adapter. I needed four strands for my roofline, so I bought two boxes and now have two extra strands that I plan to use once I buy another controller and adapter. I am giving these a 5 out of 5 because they offer excellent value, strong performance, and seamless integration with the Govee ecosystem. Installing them was easy. Each bulb has a permanently attached loop on the back, and I used alligator-style clips to secure them along my roofline. The loops make the hanging process simple and sturdy, which is important for long-term outdoor use. Since I already use Govee products, these lights connected to the Govee app immediately. If you are new to Govee, setup is still straightforward. Download the app, enable Bluetooth, connect the device, enter your Wi-Fi information, and everything syncs quickly. One major benefit is that the color hues match the rest of my Govee lighting. Staying within the Govee ecosystem makes it easy to keep all lighting consistent across your home. These lights run patterns, timers, scenes, and dynamic effects without any hassle. The brightness and vibrancy are excellent. In the video I attached to my review, I used a tropical Christmas color scene along my roofline using the Marquee option, and the colors are vivid even from a distance. A single 144-foot box covers a surprising amount of space. These are now my permanent year-round roofline lights. The overall construction feels durable enough for long-term outdoor exposure, and I prefer this classic bulb style over the more permanent soffit-mounted options. They bring a festive look that works for any season or holiday. Pros: • Bright, vibrant colors with excellent clarity • Three long strands per box cover a large area • Built-in hanging loops on each bulb make installation easy • Strong integration with the Govee app and entire Govee ecosystem • Supports scenes, timers, and custom color patterns • Durable enough for year-round outdoor use • Matches Govee’s color hues across other devices Cons: • Additional controllers are needed if you want to use leftover strands independently Bottom line: These lights deliver excellent brightness, easy installation, and smooth app control. If you already use Govee products, they drop right into your setup without effort. Even if you are new to Govee, the value and performance make these a great investment. I highly recommend them. ... show more

    • Govee S14 Outdoor String Lights 2 (96ft)
Size: 96ft
Govee has officially set the gold standard for smart patio lighting with the S14 Series 2. This 96ft strand isn't just an "upgrade" it’s a complete overhaul that addresses almost every minor gripe from the original version. Why It’s a 5-Star Product Matter Compatibility: This is the game-changer. Integrating these into Apple Home, Alexa, or Google Home via Matter makes the connection rock-solid and future-proof. Upgraded RGBICW Technology: Unlike the older models, these feature dedicated warm white LEDs alongside the colors. You get a true, cozy 2700K glow for dinner parties and vibrant, saturated colors for holidays. Serious Durability (IP66): The bulbs are now fully sealed and rated IP66, meaning they can handle heavy rain and wind much better than the previous IP65/56 versions. The built-in mounting loops are also reinforced and won't snap during installation. Endless Customization: With 111 scene modes and a built-in mic for music syncing, the "wow factor" is unmatched. The Govee Home app remains the best in the business for DIY light shows. The Verdict While they are a bit more of an investment than "dumb" LED strings, the 30% brightness boost and seamless smart home integration justify the price. If you want a "set it and forget it" lighting system that looks professional year-round, these are the ones to buy. Pro Tip: Because these use a specific power architecture to support the upgraded brightness and Matter, they cannot be daisy-chained to other sets. If you need 96ft, buy the 96ft model specifically! ... show more

    • Only order the exact length you need for one outlet.
Size: 96ft
I love these lights. They are amazing for outdoor lighting with lots of fun patterns. They are very bright but you can adjust. They work well with Alexa. I am dropping a star because you cannot buy a power source separate to be able to use each strand in a different area of the house. So only order the length you can use off of one outlet because you can’t use the other strand (s) of lights anywhere else. ... show more

    • I love the lights, but very complex to create your own display
Size: 96ft
These lights are really beautiful and offer every matter of configuration available. It is this later fact that leads to the complex task of configuration. It takes quite a bit of time and patience to create the patterns that these lights can perform, I wish the software to interact with them was a bit more intuitive, but they do look great when you figure it out. Secondly, the power supply failed on our set after about 10 months and when I contacted Govee support they rushed an entire new set of lights out to that end they were fantastic! ... show more
