I order the lights on Sept 3,2025 and they arrived the next day. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was in the box. No missing parts. I started putting the lights up that day and it was simple. I made a cut to extend the lights to my roof top. The bottom splice was easy as I was on the ground. The top splice was a little tricky as it had to be done on an extended ladder. I ran the lights along the roof soffit and stopped for the night. I turned on the lights and everything worked fine. Setting up the app on an iPhone was a little tricky but not overwhelming. The next day I continued with the lights and made a top splice again on a ladder, to bring the lights back to the lower level, where I made the second splice. I finished running the lights to the end. I plugged in the power supply and no lights. I checked the control box thinking I forgot to turn on the lights and found it to be very hot to the touch. I unplugged the power supply. I checked my spices again and found some of the wires had twisted together. I corrected the splices and plugged the power in. The lights did not work but the control box was no longer getting hot. I called the support number to Govee and spoke with a representative. She gave me information to email Govee support and explain my situation. I did that and inquired if the was anywhere I could buy a new control box. I was told that at this time the parts are only available through Govee support. They told me they would send me a new control box and power supply. After five days Govee asked me to write a review. I explained that I had not received the parts yet. I received another email stating there was a mixup and my parts were not sent out but they would resend them. This was on Sept. 16th. I received the parts today Sept. 23rd and hooked up the power supply and control box and all is well. All lights are working and I figured out the app to make the lights do what I want them to do. I gave Govee a 5 star review which I think is well deserved. They stood behind their product and made it right for me at no cost to myself I should add. Thank you to everyone at the support team.     • Finally have our entire house surrounded by lights…it’s beautiful

We’ve wanted lights to surround our entire home for years. Our hesitation was dreading the take down. Govee H706 and H806 solve the problem. They stay up year round, barely noticeable and bright at night. We just installed these on Sat, learning how to operate them has been fun. We’re trying to elevate our Holiday display this year. Our neighbors are always doing such a great job on their decor. We had to try to join the club. Govee will do the job for us. We put them up ourselves, too expensive to hire someone. Their asking price is $2000 for 400’ (ranch style home). We have completed several DIY projects, to save our cash. This was no different. We highly recommend this product. ... show more

These are pretty great. True white lights, and can do a lot of colors. I watched some videos to check them out before buying, get some tips and tricks for installing, and deciding if they would even work well for me. Once I decided how I wanted to install them, it really wasn't hard. It did take some time and a bit of effort; but, on my single story home it wasn't really difficult. This particular set will let you cut and splice in pieces, allowing you to customize the length, or adding a branch off the line. Now I have the exterior of my home well lit. It looks nice, provides some extra security, offers a lot of options lighting patterns. You can change for no reason, holidays, whatever you want. Worth noting too, is these do not point outward. So they won't light up the perimeter of your property unless you have something out there to mount them too. This also means they be pointing in your neighbor's windows. They’re pricey that’s for sure, but I think they will be worth it. I hate heights, so not having to climb up and down every year is a win. Make sure you check your lights before you begin. I had one strand that didn’t work out of the box but Govee’s customer support was fantastic and quickly shipped me a replacement strand quickly and painlessly. I’d recommend buying the mounts sold on Amazon because the adhesive likely wont last long. I’m heavily invested in the Govee ecosystem and glad I went with these. ... show more
